Despite the fact that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle married three years ago, their wedding day remains one to remember. And, soon, everyone will be able to experience the momentous day by visiting Frogmore House, the wedding reception site of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The venue, which accommodated 200 people for an evening celebration after Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May 2018, will welcome tourists in 2022.

Individuals and pre-booked parties of 15 or more will be able to visit the Windsor hideaway on three Charity Open Days next spring, with all profits going to carefully chosen charity, according to the Trust’s website.

Visitors will be allowed to wander through Frogmore House’s grounds in addition to viewing the house itself. Queen Elizabeth has been seen strolling her corgis in these grounds, according to People. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s engagement pictures were also taken on the grounds. Frogmore House is very close to Frogmore Cottage, where Meghan and Harry stayed during their time in the UK. Prince Harry stayed at the Cottage on his recent visit to England, where he joined the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue.

Moreover, the queen was pictured there with Prince Charles in March, and it was subsequently revealed that the Queen and her heir had planted a tiny oak in the grounds to start off a campaign aimed at getting millions of trees planted throughout the UK by the Platinum Jubilee next year.

Frogmore House was constructed in the 17th century, but it was purchased by George III’s wife, Queen Charlotte, in 1792 and became a royal home. Members of the royal family have escaped to the area for its magnificent scenery for the last 300 years.

Members of the Royal Family utilize it for receptions and important occasions.

Meghan and Prince Harry extended their wedding festivities with an evening party after exchanging vows at St. George’s Chapel and attending a luncheon event hosted by Queen Elizabeth inside Windsor Castle. After changing into a black suit and bow tie for Harry and a Stella McCartney halter gown with an open back for Meghan, the newlyweds drove out in a blue Jaguar to Frogmore House, which is half a mile south of Windsor Castle.

Despite the fact that the event was restricted to the press and the general public, the location has previously been accessible to guests on certain days. However, due to the COVID-19 epidemic, Frogmore House has been closed to the public for the last two years.

The Queen and Princess Anne are reported to have eaten lunch at Frogmore House in August 2020, just before the Princess Royal’s 70th birthday.

Frogmore Cottage, which Harry and Meghan converted from five distinct servant quarters into a 10-bedroom house, is now being occupied by Harry’s niece Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank as they settle into life as a family of three. Eugenie’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, and father, Prince Andrew, reside nearby at Royal Lodge, while Eugenie’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, stays at Windsor Castle, which is a short walk away.
