Megan Fox Slams Critics of Her and Machine Gun Kelly’s Age Gap: “Go F–k Yourself”

Earlier this year, Megan Fox began dating Machine Gun Kelly.

The 35-year-old Till Death actress spoke out about her relationship with 31-year-old rapper Machine Gun Kelly in a recent interview with InStyle. Megan, in fact, took aim at critics of their four-year age gap, telling the publication that it’s “ridiculous that women are treated that way.”

“There’s so much judgment,” the New Girl alum, 35, told InStyle in an interview published on Wednesday, July 7. “You want to talk about patriarchy? The fact that he’s four years younger than me, and people want to act like I’m dating a younger man. He’s 31, and I’m 35. Granted, he’s lived like he’s 19 his whole life, but he isn’t 19. No one would blink twice if George Clooney was dating someone four years younger.”

Clooney, 60, has a history of dating younger women, including Stacy Keibler, 41. He is currently married to 43-year-old lawyer Amal Clooney, with whom he has twins.

“Four years? Go fuck yourself,” Fox continued. “We would have been in high school together. That’s so ridiculous that women are treated that way.”

Meanwhile, MGK made a quick cameo in the interview and expressed his admiration for Fox. “She’s like the earth,” he said. “When it’s summer, it’s the hottest summer. When it’s winter, it’s the most amazing chill. In the fall and spring, it’s a beautiful transition. She is unlike any person I have ever met in my life. I just want people to understand this is real. I don’t think people get the opportunity to believe in real, great love, and that’s what we have together.”

Megan also discussed the public scrutiny she has faced over the years. “I was brought out and stoned and murdered at one point,” she said. “And then suddenly everybody’s like, ‘Wait a second. We shouldn’t have done that. Let’s bring her back.'”

Fox also tells InStyle that when she’s out in public with Baker, she’s frequently asked, “Where are your kids?” “Do you ask their dad when he’s out?” she shoots back, hypothetically. “No, because you don’t expect a dad to be with the kids all the time, but I’m supposed to not be seen and be at home with my kids. They have another parent. I have to leave, and sometimes I don’t want them photographed and they don’t come with me. This whole year I’ve been very surprised by how archaic some of the mindsets still are in some people.”

Fox was linked to the “Bloody Valentine” singer in May 2020, the same month Brian Austin Green announced his divorce from the actress after nearly ten years of marriage.

In the August issue of InStyle magazine, the brunette stunner stated that her affair with MGK had nothing to do with her choice to divorce her husband Brian Austin Green, with whom she has three children: Noah Shannon, eight, Bodhi Ransom, seven, and Journey River, four.

It was originally announced in May 2020 that MGK and Fox were dating after meeting on the set of their upcoming mystery crime thriller Midnight in the Switchgrass.

The Jennifer’s Body actress isn’t the only one who feels so—just last month, model Emily Ratajkowski criticized Judd Apatow’s film This Is 40, claiming that “Megan Fox is treated in it so badly.”
