Kate Middleton ‘saved’ Prince William by introducing him to Middleton family
According to a royal expert, the Duchess of Cambridge “saved” Prince William after his “dysfunctional” childhood and has now devoted her life to making him happy.
The Duke of Cambridge, 38, was in a ‘very difficult place’ after losing his mother Princess Diana at the age of 15 in 1997, according to Angela Levin, author of Harry: Biography of a Prince, who was speaking on True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat.
“I think that Kate has helped save William,” the royal biographer told True Royalty TV’s Royal Beat.
“I think it was very difficult for him coming out of a dysfunctional family, losing his mother so young and I think he was in a very difficult place to have a long, strong relationship.
Since their wedding, Angela thinks Kate has worked hard to not just assist William in his royal duties, but also to help him find his own identity.

“And she’s really encouraged him.
“Her whole life is to make him happy, I think.
“She found things that really make him feel important and worthy rather than just going to cut ribbons.
“I think she has helped him be a husband by introducing him to her own family a lot and spending time with a normal family and also being a dad.”
Throughout the pandemic, the Duke and Duchess have done their part, focusing their efforts on assisting individuals who have been affected by the disease.
During a video chat on Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge resumed their activities, showing solidarity to student nurses and telling them that beginning work placements amid a pandemic must have been a “baptism of fire.”
Kate thanked the nurses, saying, “Nursing is one of the most trusted professions in the country, so you couldn’t have chosen a better career choice and it’s needed now more than ever.”
“You’ve got almost three generations now – those coming back from retirement but also you guys doing your training who are stepping up – it shows real commitment and real teamwork, and it should really be celebrated, so really well done.”
“One of the funny stories is he was so desperate to meet her that as he walked towards her, he apparently tripped and said, ‘Oh that’s a terrible start, you’re going to think I’m a complete clot,” Royal author Tom Quinn says.
Channel 5 royal correspondent Simon Vigar previously said: “When they were at university at St Andrews I have it on good authority that one of the few girls not chasing William or trying to catch his eye was Catherine.
“If that is true, she played an absolute blinder.
“He was definitely the target of lots of girls at university.
“But it wasn’t until the infamous fashion show that William noticed Catherine.”
The couple married in 2011 after many ups and downs in their relationship. Royal specialists have commended the duchess for creating a stable home life for her husband and their three children behind the gates of the palace.
The bride wore a lace gown created by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, while the groom donned an Irish Guards crimson tunic.
Princess Diana, William’s mother, died in a car accident in 1997, at 36. The prince subsequently acknowledged that the loss of his mother when he was 15 had a significant effect on his mental health.
