Is Prince Charles planning “bitter revenge” against Meghan Markle?

“Charles’ Bitter Revenge On Meghan!” screamed the cover of the most recent issue of the National Enquirer. The tabloid was full of shocking allegations about Prince Charles and his daughter-in-law, Meghan Markle. When Markle arrived in the UK, she allegedly turned down Prince Charles and the rest of the royal family, causing Charles to suspect that she is really using his son, Prince Harry, for glory. According to the source, Charles is “furious” that his “hotheaded son Harry is too weak to stand up to her” and accuses Meghan for “ripping the family apart.”

Prince Harry seems to have disregarded his father’s futile pleas for Markle’s divorce. “Harry is blinded by love and clearly would rather walk away from his royal relatives than leave his new family – Meghan, Archie, and a baby daughter due in just weeks,” the tabloid’s insider reveals. When Charles becomes king, he is said to be intending to strip Archie and his sister of their royal titles. But the eventual sovereign has other plans as well.

According to the paper, Charles plans to exact “ultimate revenge” on Markle in three ways. The first is that the offspring of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will never be given royal titles. The second possibility is that Harry and Markle will be excluded from Charles’ will. Finally, Charles has instructed the palace staff not to say Markle’s name again. “Charles is hitting Meghan where it hurts the most – stripping her of power and prestige,” a royal source tells the tabloid.

However, despite the tabloid’s claims, it’s doubtful that Prince Charles intends to tamper with his grandchildren’s titles. Archie, his grandson, is two years old, and his granddaughter is due in the summer. It’s absurd to think Charles would go after the young Sussex kids.

Anniversary Snub

On Wednesday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their third wedding anniversary, but it was without well wishes from those who were once close to them.

Not only did Princess Beatrice reveal that she and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are expecting their first child, but the royal family also made a series of announcements—all of which omitted Meghan and Harry’s wedding anniversary.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a surprise statement to their followers to commemorate the occasion. The Royal Family has built tributes on social media in the past to commemorate significant family events, but the Royal Family had other plans for the Sussexes’ wedding anniversary.

Even though they all paid tribute to Prince William and Kate Middleton on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s 10th wedding anniversary last month, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles did not publicly congratulate the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their new partnership milestone.

William, 38, also did not officially acknowledge his brother and sister-in-special law’s day.

Instead, the Queen, who is 95 years old, declared on Wednesday that her granddaughter Princess Beatrice is expecting her first child, and William and Kate, 39, revealed plans for their next royal tour.

The official Royal Family account announced it on Twitter with a nice picture of Beatrice Mapelli Mozzi and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi on their wedding day.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year,” the caption read. “The Queen has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news.”

This follows Prince Harry’s appearance on Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, in which he claimed to have been trapped in a “pain and suffering” cycle within the royal family.

Harry’s remarks on the podcast widened the divide between the Sussexes and the senior royal family, which has been particularly strained following Harry and Meghan’s candid Oprah interview. “When it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on,” Harry told Shepard.

“Suddenly I started to piece it together and go ‘OK, so this is where he went to school, this is what happened, I know this about his life, I also know that is connected to his parents so that means he’s treated me the way he was treated, so how can I change that for my own kids?” he said of his father, Prince Charles.

In the case of Charles, he shared pictures from his trip to Northern Ireland with wife Camilla Parker Bowles on his Clarence House Twitter page on the Anniversary.

This isn’t the first time Charles, 72, has been accused of ignoring his younger son. The heir to the British throne made the announcement in a video alongside a framed portrait of himself, his mother, son William, and grandson Prince George earlier this month, without Harry.

A source told Page Six of Beatrice’s May 19 announcement, “It was a total dig at Harry and Meghan. They stole Eugenie’s thunder on her big day, after all, and it appears that has not been forgotten.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton had a busy day as well, with Kate posting about her surprise visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum, where she wore some beautiful gold hooped earrings, and the pair also sent fans a big update, confirming their most romantic royal engagement yet.
