Eco-warrior Prince Harry ‘using exclusive VIP airport service & gas-guzzling Chevrolet’
Prince Harry’s days of dashing around London in his modest Audi may seem like a distant memory now that he’s taking advantage of the glitzy options available in California.
The Duke of Sussex, who is an outspoken supporter of environmental issues, is said to have been using The Private Suite, which is billed as “the most VIP way through the airport”.
When he arrived at LAX from London earlier this month, it dispatched a fancy gas-guzzling Chevrolet SUV to take him away.

Members pay £3,250 a year and an additional £2,500 each trip, but they get to leave the aircraft on their own private steps before the rest of the passengers.

According to the Mail on Sunday, they are then picked up in a private SUV and driven to a special terminal where they may collect their baggage and go through passport check in privacy.
PS provides “a private airport experience” and “reimagines the airport experience for the seasoned and discerning traveller.”
It is headed by Gavin de Becker, who is widely rumored to be in charge of Harry and Meghan’s security at their Montecito property.
Due to his famous status, the Duke requires more protection and has previously flown with British Airways.
The SUV use comes despite previously speaking out against the risks of climate change.
“For me, it’s about doers, not sayers. There’s a lot of people that say but this is about action,” Prince Harry remarked in a YouTube clip from an environmental documentary for Waterbear last year.
He told the ‘The Me You Can’t See: A Path Forward’ podcast that the world needed a “reckoning moment” after the pandemic, emphasizing that climate change was one of the world’s two most urgent problems, alongside mental health.
According to Chevrolet’s own website, the vehicle goes 31 mpg on the interstate and approximately 26 mpg in city traffic.
Earlier this year, the Duke cautioned that climate change must be addressed “at the source,” and that much of the United States was “either on fire or underwater,” which he described as “pretty depressing.”
He urged a gathering of teenagers at the SSE Arena in Wembley in 2019 to “wake up” and “act on the damaging impact our ways of living are having on the world.”
In an effort to help preserve the world, Harry has also said that he and Meghan Markle will have no more than two children.
“I don’t there’s anyone not involved in conservation somehow or who shouldn’t be involved in conservation somehow,” he said during a Royal visit to Botswana in 2019.
“There’s an emergency and a race against time – and one which we are losing. Everyone knows it and I think there’s no excuse for not knowing that.
“The troubling thing is I don’t think there’s anybody in the world that can deny science, undeniable science and facts science and facts that have been around for the last 30, 40 years and it’s only getting stronger and stronger.”
“Genuinely I don’t understand how anyone in this world, whoever you are…no one can deny science or we live in a very troubling world.”
Meanwhile, a source informed the Mail on Sunday that while in California, the Duke spent time with the “LA rich set,” which included “owners of big companies, jet-set types with private planes.”
“He spends time in Malibu, Montecito, and Beverly Hills,” the insider said.
“Harry seems really relaxed being the star in the room. He’s usually the only famous person at the parties he goes to, and it seems to suit him that he’s the one everyone flocks to.”
