“She got something that I was dying for”: Jennifer Lawrence Calls Rivalry With Emma Stone “Stupid”, Admits She Stole a Major Role from Her

Jennifer Lawrence, one of the highest-paid actresses in the world, has opened up about her regret over a rivalry with fellow actress Emma Stone.

Although Lawrence has made a name for herself with her roles in films like X-Men and Hunger Games, she has admitted to feeling jealous of Stone after losing a role in a major film.

The two actresses used to frequently audition for the same roles, but Lawrence now admits that their careers have taken different paths and that their past rivalry was “silly”.

During an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in 2018, Lawrence spoke candidly about her feelings towards Stone.

“Emma Stone and I actually had this conversation once because we used to always audition for the same thing,” she revealed.

Despite the fact that Stone ultimately landed some of the roles that Lawrence wanted, the Red Sparrow actress claims that she was most devastated about losing the lead role in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland to Mia Wasikowska.

Lawrence has also expressed regret over not landing the lead role in the teen rom-com film Easy A, which starred Stone alongside Stanley Tucci, Lisa Kudrow, and Aly Michalka.

“I auditioned for Easy A. I wanted it so bad,” she said.

However, Stone had a quick response to Lawrence’s disappointment: “Well, guess what?

You didn’t get it.

You didn’t get it because you suck!”

Despite the competition between them, Lawrence and Stone have managed to maintain a close friendship over the years.

They have been seen together on several occasions and have even expressed their affection for one another.

During The Hollywood Reporter’s roundtable, Lawrence revealed that she and Stone shared a great bond despite past rivalries.

Although Lawrence has achieved great success in her acting career, she has acknowledged that her rivalry with Stone was “stupid”.

She believes that their careers have taken different paths and that they are no longer competing for the same roles.

Lawrence’s acting career has been marked by a number of award-winning performances, including an Oscar for her role in Silver Linings Playbook.

She has also starred in films like American Hustle, Joy, and Red Sparrow.

Despite her success, Lawrence has remained grounded and has always been open about her personal struggles.

Lawrence has also made headlines for her personal life, including her relationship with art dealer Cooke Maroney.

The couple got engaged in 2019 and tied the knot a year later.

Lawrence has also been vocal about her political views and has advocated for issues such as gender equality and gun control.

Despite the challenges she has faced, Lawrence remains one of the most sought-after actresses in Hollywood.

Her ability to portray complex characters with depth and nuance has made her a favorite among audiences and critics alike.

As she continues to take on new roles and challenge herself as an actress, Lawrence is sure to remain a force to be reckoned with in the film industry.
