Sharon Stone lost custody of her son over questionable parenting methods
Actress Sharon Stone, known for her iconic roles in Hollywood, has recently been involved in a custody battle over her first son with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein.
The court dispute revealed a number of Stone’s questionable parenting decisions, from accusations of neglect to neurotic nitpicking.

In the early 90s, Stone started dating newspaper editor Phil Bronstein and moved to San Francisco to be with him.
The couple had a glamorous star-studded wedding with James Woods, Nell Carter, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ray Charles, and Melanie Griffith among the attendees.
However, starting a family proved to be difficult for the couple.
Stone experienced three miscarriages in the first few months of her marriage to Bronstein, losing the child at five months into the pregnancy.
Later in life, she would speak out about this challenging time in her life: “It is no small thing, physically nor emotionally yet we are made to feel it is something to bear alone and secretly with some kind of sense of failure.”
After their second miscarriage, Stone and Bronstein decided to start the adoption process.
They adopted three sons, but their first son, Roan, was the focus of their custody battle.
The court revealed a number of Stone’s questionable parenting decisions, including neglect and neurotic nitpicking. The court ultimately decided to award Bronstein primary custody of Roan.
