Scarlett Johansson naked photos leaked online

Scarlett Johansson, the actress, is the latest celebrity to be the target of allegedly leaked nude photographs from her phone, which surfaced online on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old Hollywood actress is launching a counter-offensive against the hacker ring accused of being responsible for the tragedy.

The candid images show the actress taking her own photos in what appears to be her bathroom from various perspectives.

The photos show the 26-year-old The Avengers actor, who is topless and wearing a towel with her rear exposed.

According to celebrity news website TMZ, “The Avengers” actress has enlisted the help of the FBI to investigate. An FBI official declined to confirm or deny the inquiry, and a spokesperson for Johansson could not be reached for comment right away.

An FBI spokesman told Agence France-Presse, “The FBI is investigating the person or groups responsible for a series of computer intrusions involving high-profile figures.”

“This would include many devices – could mean a computer, desktop, laptop, iPad, cell phone…intrusions into personal online accounts too.”

Johansson looks to be the latest victim of a criminal organization that has hacked into the phones and computers of 50 celebrities to take nude photographs and videos.

“Sources connected with Scarlett tell us … the FBI will be contacted this morning because they believe this is a criminal act,” TMZ writes.

Mila Kunis’ smartphone was allegedly hacked, according to TMZ, resulting in the publication of suggestive photographs of her “Friends With Benefits” co-star Justin Timberlake.

Explicit photos of Jessica Alba and Vannessa Hudgens were also posted online, causing them embarrassment.

Johansson’s lawyer filed cease-and-desist letters to websites that published the photographs, alleging that the images were copyright-protected.

The photos were also sent to websites such as Perez Hilton’s and Mediatakout.com.

“If you are famous and take nude photos of yourself, they will end up on the Internet,” said Joe Brown of the tech website Gizmodo.

Brown said that a digital photo of oneself, especially one that is naked, is “like a giant skeleton shaking your closet doors and moaning ‘TMZ’ at all hours.” “Especially when it’s a cellphone photo. Think of how many people have access to your cellphone in a given day: co-workers, acquaintances, tech support people, etc.”

“I would suggest that every hot-blooded male exercises some restraint as it’s extremely possible that cybercriminals might exploit the interest to post dangerous links on the Web designed to infect computers and steal information,” he concluded.

In an interview with CNN, Johansson claimed that when it comes to privacy, celebrities were no different than anybody else.

“Just because you’re an actor… doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to your own personal privacy,” she said.

“If that [privacy] is sieged in some way, it feels unjust. It feels wrong,” Johansson told the US broadcaster.

“I think there are certain instances where you give a lot of yourself and finally you have to kind of put your foot down,” the Bafta-winning actress remarked of her life in the limelight.

Most media outlets have now removed the photographs.
