Sandra Bullock named World’s Most Beautiful Woman
People magazine has crowned Sandra Bullock the most beautiful woman in the world.
The 50-year-old actress, who plays a villain in the film “Minions,” is at the top of the magazine’s list, which was released on Wednesday.
Bullock, 50, expressed her surprise at discovering she would get the award in an interview with People magazine.
“No, really. I just said, ‘That’s ridiculous… I’ve told no one.”
Bullock went on to say that the individuals she considers to be “beautiful” are those that “aren’t even trying.”

What does beauty mean to Bullock, the 50-year-old mother of a 5-year-old son? “Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town, it’s just so hard not to say, ‘Oh, I need to look like that. No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch, let someone cut in front of you who looks like they’re in a bigger hurry,” Bullock says. “The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren’t trying.”
Actress Lupita Nyong’o was named Most Beautiful Woman last year. Jennifer Lopez (actress/singer), Jennifer Aniston (actress), and Gwyneth Paltrow (actress) are among the other winners.
So, how are things going for Sandra and Louis?
The Oscar winner says that she and her son have been having “deep” talks. Sandra claims she was recently “listening to him tell me why he was going to marry his girlfriend. But then we were having Sunday dinner, and he said he changed his mind. I just told him, ‘Always love those who want to love you back and are nice to you.'” But, like most kids his age, Louis didn’t dwell on his future for long. “We moved back to Legos and ‘Why are you making me eat broccoli?'” the actress says.
Louis, her five-year-old son, has her wrapped around his little finger, she revealed.
She added: “But I will never let him know it. We have rules. I let everyone else be the aunties and uncles who spoil him and I’m the one that lays down the law.”
For the time being, Louis is unaware that his mother is a well-known actress. “He thought I was an astronaut for a while,” the Gravity actress reveals. “I want it to be so inconsequential and such a nonissue. I want him to be embarrassed by me like all other parents.”
Taraji P. Henson, Laverne Cox, and Vanessa Hudgens, as well as singers Ariana Grande and Meghan Trainor, are among the other celebrities included in the issue.
