Salma Hayek bathed n-ked with Lady Gaga

Salma Hayek, co-star of the upcoming film, House of Gucci, has a hilarious story to share about her experience filming a mud bath scene with Lady Gaga.

While much has been said about Lady Gaga’s Italian accent in the movie, Hayek’s story involves a different kind of dirt altogether.

In House of Gucci, Hayek portrays Pina Auriemma, a close friend of Patrizia Reggiani (played by Lady Gaga), who marries into the famous Gucci family.

Patrizia later finds herself in trouble and even hires a hitman.

In one scene, the two characters visit a spa for a mud bath.

During an interview on the Late Late Show with James Corden, Hayek revealed what it was like filming the scene with Lady Gaga.

Despite all her experience in film, Hayek admitted to feeling a bit apprehensive about the mud bath scene, especially since she had never done one before.

Lady Gaga, on the other hand, couldn’t believe that the Oscar-nominated actor had never taken a mud bath.

Hayek explained that she and Lady Gaga were n^de from the waist up while filming the scene.

She also revealed that she had fears of sinking.

“And once you’re in, you’re n^ked – well not completely, we had something underneath but nothing on top – and the thing is that, in my head, I was going to sink,” Hayek told Corden.

Sitting next to Late Late Show guest Keith Urban, Hayek then hilariously describes how Lady Gaga entered the mud bath with sheer confidence.

“Gaga just goes in, like an Egyptian queen,” Hayek explains, miming her gestures.

“Sits down, and she starts descending.”

Meanwhile, Hayek struggled to keep herself afloat, “Me, with my extra kilos, I sit on the mud and I’m not sinking,” she said.

“And I’m trying to [move the mud away from] my huge b*tt to make some weight [shift].”

Hayek’s humorous reenactment of the incident had Urban, Corden, and the studio audience laughing uncontrollably.

She describes the experience as “horrific” and the most challenging scene she has ever done.

House of Gucci also stars Adam Driver, Jeremy Irons, Al Pacino, and Jared Leto.

It hits theaters on November 24, 2021.
