The photo circulating of Robin Thicke touching a fan’s butt at the MTV: VMA after party is probably nothing at all, as Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton are renowned for their unorthodox marriage. Thicke was pictured groping a fan’s behind while posing for a selfie at a post-VMAs party.

He posed with blond student and socialite Lana Scolaro, who shared photos on her now-private Instagram account. Thicke grabs her butt in a shot where he can be seen doing it in the reflection of a mirror behind them.

She shared the shot in both color and black-and-white versions. At the time, his wife was only a few feet away at the same party.

Despite claims that his hands aren’t on her behind, Lana verified to E! News that the photo is genuine.

She stated that she met him a week before the party and had “just moved to New York about a month ago” when asked how the photo came about.

Was she aware of the uproar that would occur if she posted the photo?

“I knew his hand was on my butt,” she continued, “but I didn’t know that there was a mirror.”

“I don’t even know how to use Photoshop,” she says, amid claims that the photo was changed in some way.

She went on to say, “I didn’t even know that was the reflection until I uploaded it, and someone commented on it. I was just like, ‘Oh I’ll Instagram this photo with Robin Thicke, like everybody else.'”

“Look at the reflection girl,” said Twitter user @JenLeadley, whose bio claims she is from the United Kingdom.

Something tells us Patton knows more about her husband and his pranks than anybody else. Thicke did discuss their sexually active relationship with Howard  Stern, so this photo may not be a huge problem or a danger to their marriage.

However, a source tells E! News that the photo is a “non-issue” for the pair.

After his widely panned performance at the annual award event in Brooklyn on Sunday, the two Hollywood stars are presently enjoying a much-needed beach vacation in Florida.
