Rob Lowe Throws Shades at Meghan Markle in New Netflix Show

Hollywood actor Rob Lowe, who has been residing in Montecito, California for the past 26 years, recently made some interesting remarks about Meghan Markle.

In the third episode of his new show, “Unstable,” available on Netflix, Lowe seemingly takes a subtle jab at the Duchess of Sussex.

The episode, written by Sean Clements, coincidentally shares the same birthdate as Harry’s wife, August 4th, 1981.

Lowe’s character, Ellis Dragon, portrays an eccentric genius similar to Elon Musk, who is currently dealing with a mental health crisis following the tragic loss of his wife, Katie.

To change the narrative surrounding his erratic behavior, Dragon’s handler arranges for an award-winning writer named Alison Davis to shadow him at his company headquarters.

However, their attempts to convince Davis that everything is under control only reveal the true chaos and insanity happening behind the scenes.

During one particular scene, Dragon’s handler tries to manipulate Davis by suggesting that including a certain observation in her piece would be racist.

Another peculiar moment occurs when a supporting character presents his love interest with a catnip banana.

In a desperate effort to contain the situation, Dragon’s handler has another character taken away to a mental hospital.

Meanwhile, Dragon himself is kidnapped by his therapist, who ends up becoming accustomed to the billionaire’s lavish lifestyle and moves into his mansion.

The episode concludes with Davis capturing a truly bizarre image that exposes the full extent of the madness taking place.

This sets the stage for the next episode, where Dragon and his staff must confront the aftermath of a Time magazine cover that has gone viral.

Interestingly, these events unfold amidst rumors surrounding Meghan Markle’s recent complaints about how she was portrayed in an interview with The Cut.

The article, penned by journalist Alison P. Davis, delved into the former actress’s life in Montecito, California and subtly alluded to her time as a senior royal.

Speculation suggests that Meghan’s dissatisfaction with the article has led to the writer being placed on unpaid leave.

In an interview with E!

News, Rob Lowe candidly shared his observations about the changes he has witnessed since the arrival of the Sussexes.

He remarked, “They definitely have brought a lot of attention to my sleepy little town.

Let me tell you something, once the royals move into your neighborhood, it’s never going to be the same again.”

Despite living in close proximity, Lowe admitted to only seeing Prince Harry driving by once.

He humorously added, “When Oprah moved in, that began the sort of resurgence of Montecito.

Now that the royals are here, the good news is property values have gone up.

The bad news is the line is longer at Starbucks.”

Curious to verify Lowe’s claims, a reporter from Insider decided to investigate.

The reporter spoke to a Starbucks barista who explained that due to Covid, mobile orders have increased, resulting in longer lines.

When asked if Lowe frequented the establishment, the barista replied, “I’ve never seen Rob Lowe.”

Addressing rumors that Harry and Meghan had filmed their conversation with Oprah at his residence, Lowe clarified, “It’s so funny.

Everyone thinks the interview was shot at my house, and then my friend Ted Sarandos, who runs Netflix, everyone thought they shot it at his house.

Here’s my thing, and I have no idea, I think they just plain old shot it at Oprah’s.

I swear to you.

And they just said it was a mystery location.”

As the drama surrounding Meghan Markle continues to unfold, it seems that even Hollywood actors like Rob Lowe are not immune to the ripple effects of her presence in Montecito.

Whether it’s through his new show or his observations about the changing dynamics of the neighborhood, Lowe’s remarks have certainly added fuel to the ongoing conversation.
