During a family trip to celebrate Kylie Jenner’s 23rd birthday, Rob Kardashian and Tristan Thompson had some fun in the sun.

Not only was it a wonderful trip for Kylie, who turned 23 on Monday, but Rob even called it one of the finest vacations he’d ever had!

“Most Beautiful trip of my Life with the Fam‼️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY @kyliejenner‼️ Love You💙💙 WOO!!” Rob, 33, wrote in the caption for the shots.

“Am super excited Robert is on this trip.” one of his fans said. “Omg so happy to see ur out n bout enjoying life Rob,” another said. His fans are likewise pleased to witness this transformation in him and continue to wish him well. According to one of the sources, “For a long time, he was unhappy and embarrassed about the way he looked. But now, he knows he looks better. He is comfortable enough to be photographed. He wants people to know that he is doing well.”

“My Cro 4L @robkardashianofficial,” Tristan captioned the shot on his own Instagram page the next day.

Rob was seen in a pool with Tristan Thompson, who shares Rob’s 2-year-old niece True with Khloé Kardashian, while others included views of the ocean and fireworks.

Kylie’s birthday trip comes after a tumultuous few days. She was chastised for her presence in Cardi B and Megan Three Stallion’s “WAP” video, and later Michael Costello accused her of not properly crediting clothes designers. The mother of one, on the other hand, seemed to be taking it all in stride, sharing stunning photos from her trip, including one taken in an outdoor bathtub.

Rob will appear more frequently on Keeping Up with the Kardashians when the reality program returns in the autumn, Khloé told PEOPLE last month.

She explained “Rob is going to be on the show more. We’re filming more within our homes, and he is right there with us. I’m excited for everyone to see that. He’s such a good person and I’m just happy he’s coming back around on camera a little bit more.”

That’s wonderful news for his fans who are eager to see him in action on film. His Instagram comments are always packed with encouraging remarks from his followers, who constantly asking him if he’ll be on the program or not.

This summer, the Rob & Chyna star has been quietly resurfacing on social media, even flaunting his new slender frame at sister Khloé Kardashian’s 36th birthday party in June. Rob has been “taking really good care of himself” in recent months, according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, and has concentrated on being “a very active parent” for Dream, his 3-year-old daughter with ex Blac Chyna.
