Rita Ora, the British singer-songwriter and actress, has moved to New York ahead of filming for America’s Next Top Model.

The 25-year-old starlet recently turned heads as she stepped out in a disco-inspired outfit.

The slinky silver mini dress accentuated Ora’s long, lean legs, but almost caused a wardrobe malfunction as she struggled to hold down its hem while exiting her car.

The ‘Hot Right Now’ singer accessorised her outfit with a matching pair of strappy silver sandals and a silver choker.

Ora wore her blonde locks in a sleek down do and sported a metallic eye-shadow to complement her dress.

She later shared a sultry selfie on Instagram with her 9.7 million followers, captioned “First day of filming today went amazing #nycsummer2016.”

Ora has taken over from Tyra Banks as host of the popular US reality show, America’s Next Top Model.

An insider told The Sun: “Rita is in a dream world as she’s landed the ultimate gig.

She’ll be mixing her two passions of fashion and music and taking over from a TV institution in Tyra.

Next Top Model bosses wanted to inject some freshness back into the format and they see Rita as the ideal new face.

She is releasing a new single later this year to coincide with it.

Ora, who was born in Kosovo but raised in the UK, has had a number of high-profile hosting roles in the past, including at the MTV Europe Music Awards and the BBC’s Eurovision Song Contest.

She has also appeared as a coach on The Voice UK and as a judge on the X Factor.

Ora’s move to the US comes after a period of legal wrangling with her former record label, Jay Z’s Roc Nation.

The singer was previously signed to the label, but sued them last year, claiming that they had neglected her music career.

The case was settled out of court in June, with Ora reportedly able to sign with another label.

The starlet is not afraid to take risks when it comes to fashion, and has become well-known for her daring outfits.

She recently turned heads at the Met Gala in New York, where she wore a feathered Vera Wang gown that took over two weeks to make.

Ora has also been spotted wearing a number of revealing outfits in the past, including a see-through jumpsuit and a top that left little to the imagination.
