Richard Pryor’s wife confirms he once slept with Marlon Brando

Late comedian Richard Pryor had s**ual relations with Marlon Brando in the 1970s, according to Pryor’s widow Jennifer Lee Pryor, who confirmed Quincy Jones’ claims in a recent interview with Vulture.

Jones, a music producer who worked with Pryor, revealed that James Baldwin, Marvin Gaye and Pryor were past lovers of Brando.

Speaking to TMZ, Jennifer Lee Pryor said that Richard Pryor was open about his bisexuality and wrote extensively about his s**ual encounters with other men in his diaries, which she plans to publish later this year.

In his 1976 autobiography, Brando admitted to having s**ual relationships with men.

Jones’ interview has been creating waves for his comments about Brando’s promiscuity and also an alleged past romantic relationship between Jones and Ivanka Trump, as well as describing the Beatles as “the worst musicians in the world”.

Meanwhile, Signature Theatre’s resident music director Jon Kalbfleisch is currently music directing his fourth production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd.

The out music director has won ten Helen Hayes Awards and received over thirty nominations.

Kalbfleisch counts the notoriously difficult-to-sing Sweeney as his favorite Sondheim show and among his all-time favorite scores.

A tale of revenge, Sweeney Todd is set in London in the 19th century and tells the story of murderous barber Sweeney and his accomplice Mrs. Lovett.

The current production at Signature Theatre is directed by Sarna Lapine and features Broadway actors Nathaniel Stampley and Bryonha Marie.

Kalbfleisch’s preparation for each show includes rehearsing the orchestra, ensemble and leads separately and together.

He conducts the 15-piece orchestra at every performance.

The Lawton, Oklahoma native studied classical piano at Cameron University and earned a Master of Music from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Kalbfleisch has now music directed 33 Sondheim musicals and worked with Broadway luminaries including Angela Lansbury, Chita Rivera, and Jonathan Tunick.

“Sweeney” runs until July.
