Rape accuser after four-hour hotel visit with Harvey Weinstein: ‘I feel so fabulous’

Former Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein’s rape accuser, Jessica Mann, admitted in court on Tuesday that she spent four hours with Weinstein in a hotel room in 2016 and even sent him an email afterwards saying “I feel so fabulous and beautiful.

Thanks for everything”.

Mann claimed that Weinstein raped her twice in 2013, including at a Manhattan hotel in March of that year.

She also alleged that he raped her at the Peninsula Hotel in Los Angeles in November 2013.

However, Weinstein is not charged in relation to that alleged incident.

Mann and Weinstein had consensual s** over the years and their 2016 encounter occurred at the Peninsula as well, where the pair repeatedly met over the years.

During her testimony on Tuesday, Mann said that Weinstein was filming them at one point and she freaked out when she noticed.

She also acknowledged going to Weinstein in February 2015 to seek help getting membership in the Soho House members-only club in Los Angeles, but she said it was strictly for work.

Weinstein dozed off during parts of Mann’s cross-examination by his lawyers in Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday.

He popped candy into his mouth at other intervals during the testimony.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance was present in court throughout Mann’s testimony on Tuesday.

He has missed only one day of testimony since the trial began.

After enduring two days of grueling cross-examination, Mann’s cross-examination ended mid-afternoon on Tuesday.

Prosecutors, in an unusual move, declined to question her on the stand again.

Criminal defense lawyer Mark Bederow, who is a former Manhattan prosecutor, called it “surprising” that Assistant DA Joan Illuzzi-Orbon did not re-question Mann after she endured two days of grueling cross-examination.

“It is very surprising that the prosecution wouldn’t even try to repair any damage caused by glaring inconsistencies,” Bederow told The Post.

“It suggests they wanted the witness off the stand ASAP and they will hope to explain away the damage in summation.”

Weinstein has been accused by multiple women of s**ual assault and harassment.

The current trial relates to charges that he raped Mann and s**ually assaulted another woman, Mimi Haleyi, in a New York hotel room in 2006.

Weinstein denies all charges against him and insists that any s**ual encounters were consensual.

The trial has seen some high-profile testimony from women who have accused Weinstein of s**ual misconduct, including actress Annabella Sciorra, who alleges that Weinstein raped her in the early 1990s.

The trial is expected to last until early March.
