Princess Catherine: The Fashionable Royal Who Redesigns Designer Dresses

Princess Catherine, also known as the Duchess of Cambridge and Cornwall, has been making waves in the fashion world with her unique approach to dressing.

It seems that the princess has a knack for altering dresses bought from designers, adding her own personal touch to create stunning ensembles.

This has sparked a debate among fashion enthusiasts – are the altered dresses better than the original designs?

One recent example that caught the public’s attention was when Princess Catherine attended the wedding of the Crown Prince of Jordan.

She looked elegant and luxurious in a dress that had been restitched from a previous appearance.

This is not the first time she has made such alterations to her outfits.

It seems that the princess has a personal stylist, Natasha Archer, who helps her make all the fashion decisions for her wardrobe.

Natasha, who has been working with Princess Catherine since 2014, meticulously researches the latest runway fashions and selects the most suitable looks for the princess.

After discussing her choices with Catherine and receiving several approvals, she contacts the designers.

While Natasha herself makes minor changes like removing deep necklines, the major alterations are done by the design houses themselves.

Their goal is to maintain the original design while adhering to the rules of royal modesty.

The British royal family has a distinct style, which means they must avoid wearing short skirts, long daytime dresses, low necklines, or fabrics that easily wrinkle.

As a result, Catherine often needs to adapt outfits from famous fashion designers to suit these guidelines.

For instance, during her visit to Royal Ascot in July 2019, she chose an Elie Saab suit made of luxurious tulle with intricate embroidery.

However, the sleeves were significantly shortened from the original design.

Another example of Catherine’s alterations can be seen in her Bula London gown, which she wore in public in 2019.

She removed the fluted sleeves from the original outfit and added a few buttons in their place.

These are just a few instances of the princess’s creative transformations of her wardrobe.

In my opinion, the altered dresses are truly superior to the original designs.

Princess Catherine’s personal touch enhances the overall look and ensures that the outfits fit her perfectly.

However, the debate continues – which version do you prefer?
