Maitland Ward, a porn star and former TV actress, has slammed singer Billie Eilish and her parents after she spoke out about her views on pornography.

In a December interview with The Howard Stern Show, Eilish said that she began watching porn at the age of eleven and now considers the industry to be a “a disgrace.” Ward, a former Boy Meets World actress, thinks Eilish’s views are “very detrimental” to the pornographic industry.

“Why was she watching violent porn at age 11? Who was watching over her? Like does she have parental figures in her life?” Ward, 44, raged.

“She should be blaming her parents. That’s abuse. A child should not be watching porn ever at that age.”

Wards says porn is not supposed to “sex education for children,” and has lambasted Eilish’s parents.

I’m not sure that’s realistic. Early adolescent children are naturally curious. Even before the internet, this was true, but it is now much worse. The quantity of frightening information available with only a few mouse clicks is UNREAL! It’s exceedingly tough to police this, and if failing to prevent your children from accessing porn is considered “abuse,” then more than half of all parents in the country are likely to be guilty. Just a thought.

“Porn isn’t something that’s supposed to be sex education for people. It’s entertainment for adults and that’s what we do.” Ward continued, “Also I think she’s too young to make that kind of assessment about porn, sex and everything.”

Ward argues that “adults still enjoy” pornography.

Ward began her career as a TV and film actor, playing in shows such as The Bold and the Beautiful, Boy Meets World, and White Chicks. She joined an adult talent agency in 2019 and began filming sexual acts.

Ward has been a loud advocate of the porn business on social media and feels Eilish’s statements may be devastating. “I do think it is very detrimental to it [the porn industry] and just that she has a voice like that for so many young people,” she remarked. Ward continued, “But it’s sad that she will put a stigma on the porn industry just because she had a personal experience that was very abusive and detrimental. And it’s her own thing, it’s not the porn industry’s problem.”

In December 2021, Eilish went on The Howard Stern Show and spoke up about her own experience with pornography.

“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace,” Eilish, now 19, told Stern. “I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest.”

“I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn… It got to a point where I couldn’t watch anything else unless it was violent, I didn’t think it was attractive,” she continued.

Randy Spears, a retired porn actor, praised Eilish for sharing her sentiments after she revealed her thoughts and feelings, agreeing that accessing explicit video at such a young age might be harmful.
