Piers Morgan’s wife slams Meghan Markle’s ‘vulgar and crass’ behaviour

Celia Walden, Piers Morgan’s wife, has confessed that, while she didn’t agree with her other half’s choice to walk off the set of Good Morning Britain following his enraged rant about Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 40, earlier this year, she is now becoming a royalist herself.

Piers’ tirade against Meghan’s interview with Oprah Winfrey led to his departure from Good Morning Britain, and his wife Celia Walden has called Meghan’s behavior “impudent and vulgar”

Piers’ wife stated that her views on the Royal Family are becoming increasingly similar to those of her husband, and that she is aligning with his viewpoints.

She said: “The Queen’s just been so amazing recently.

“And to have this impudent girl [Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex] behave in such a crass and vulgar way…”

Meghan, she feels, has behaved in a “crass” manner toward the Queen and the British Royal Family.

Piers had also requested her to look over an apology that ITV executives at GMB had prepared for him to sign following his tirade over the royal couple, which generated a record number of Ofcom complaints, the author and journalist revealed.

She explained: “He never asks me to do stuff like that normally, so I was quite flattered.”

Piers was told by Celia that he couldn’t sign the apology the way the administration had written it, therefore he decided to leave the program.

“However, what he said about that interview being full of inconsistencies and untruths has been proved right in so many ways,” she added.

Piers got himself into trouble with Ofcom when he stated he didn’t think the Duchess of Sussex’s statements during the interview were accurate.

Meghan said members of the royal family were concerned about the complexion of her then-unborn son, Archie. Apart from accusations of racism, Meghan also detailed how lonely she felt while battling suicidal thoughts as a result of persistent abuse by British tabloids, which the “firm” neglected to address. People on both sides of the Atlantic were enraged by the interview, which was extensively likened to the notorious interview given by Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, in 1995, which led to her stepping down as a senior royal after her impending divorce from Prince Charles. Even though Harry has sided with his wife, Meghan, media figures like Morgan and his wife have continued to back the Queen on the issue, snubbing the Sussexes.

Following Megxit and the couple’s explosive appearance with Oprah Winfrey, Celia believes that Americans are beginning to side with Piers’ point of view on the Sussexes.

“You can pick up a lot from the chat in the nail salons,” she said in an interview with The Telegraph, “and my sources there tell me Harry and Meghan have lost the nail salons.”
