Pamela Anderson credits her boobs for giving her a career

Pamela Anderson has always been known for her iconic beauty and her starring role on Baywatch.

In her new Netflix documentary, “Pamela Anderson: A Love Story” (available on January 31), she revisits her past and tells her own story.

Anderson, who also has a book titled “Love, Pamela” which is a combination of autobiography and poetry, released on the same day, has complete control over the documentary, which was produced by her son Brandon Lee.

The actress begins the documentary by inserting a video into the VCR and jokingly says she hopes she doesn’t appear nked in it, a reference to her famous sx tape with then-partner, Tommy Lee.

Anderson’s documentary offers an idealized and friendly version of herself, but it also delves into her personal life and the ups and downs she faced.

Anderson’s journey from a small town in Canada to Playboy magazine covers and the Playboy mansion is a fascinating one.

She started Baywatch in 1992 and became the most famous lifeguard in history, despite having little acting experience.

In her own words, Anderson explains, “I don’t know if I was a good actress, I didn’t know what I was doing. The director would tell us: ‘Pretend it’s real. Action!’.”

She fondly remembers her time on Baywatch as a fun and exhilarating experience, spent at the beach, making a lot of money, and going out with her castmates David Charvet and Kelly Slater.

However, Anderson’s success took a turn for the worst when a home video showing her having sx with Tommy Lee was leaked.

According to Rolling Stone’s 2014 story about the tape, a disgruntled bricklayer broke into the couple’s safe and tried to profit from the tape.

Anderson and Lee sued, but eventually settled, allowing for the tape’s sale on the internet.

The Anderson-Lee tape was the first viral video in history and changed the way sx was consumed online.

The press painted Tommy Lee as a rock star with a wild life, while Anderson was considered a “slut.”

Anderson’s fame overwhelmed her and she didn’t know how to manage her fortune, eventually leading to her financial downfall.

But in recent years, the actress has become an environmental activist and even starred in the Broadway musical “Chicago” to positive reviews.

Despite all the ups and downs, Anderson’s sense of humor remains intact. She jokes, “Except for the dye job, the boobs and the shoes, I’m the real thing.”

The documentary showcases Anderson’s journey to find redemption, with emotional music underscoring the happy ending of which Hollywood is so fond.

As the documentary concludes, Anderson sums up her life saying, “I always say it was my boobs that had a career, I was just part of the package.”

Despite the challenges she faced, Anderson remains a strong and resilient woman who continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry.
