Natalie Portman is already kicking herself for filming a naked scene for her new short film ‘Hotel Chevalier.’ Portman will no longer appear in any more naked scenes in the future. The actress is furious because she promised to undertake something embarrassing in the prelude to Wes Anderson’s ‘The Darjeeling Limited.’

“It really depressed me that half of every review on [“Hotel Chevalier”] was about the nudity. It made me think I shouldn’t have done it,” she told WENN in a report published Friday.

“I’m not prudish about nudity. I think it’s beautiful in films, and sex is such a big part of life. My issue is that I feel it takes something away from what you’re doing when the focus is put on the wrong thing. My picture ended up on porn sites, and that’s the dilemma,” she added.

Portman was traumatized by the event, and she has opted not to recreate the sequence.

Elle magazine quotes her as saying, “I just don’t want to do something that will end up as a screen grab on a porn site.

“You look at Meryl Streep, who is so phenomenally, freakishly gorgeous, and, in some ways, it’s just bizarre that she was never a sex symbol, but it was always about her – and now it doesn’t matter that she’s getting older, because we just want to continue watching her be an interesting person.

“Whereas you see actresses who marketed themselves on their bodies, and they might be good, but, over time, they just lose it because that sort of thing doesn’t last.”

Portman stated that she worked hard to establish a “good girl” image after appearing in The Professional at the age of 13.

“The good girl image was something I consciously cultivated after [The Professional]. There was a lot of controversy about the whole Lolita thing. My parents were super-protective about it, but I got a lot of weird letters. It was really upsetting,” she added.
