Actor Michael B. Jordan recently posed in his underwear for Calvin Klein’s Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.

While the internet went wild over the photos, Jordan had to apologize to his mother after the revealing photoshoot.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet for the premiere of Creed III, Jordan admitted, “I was like, my mama gon’ have to see this. Let me call her and be like, ‘I’m sorry. It’s out here.’ My business [is] all out in the streets — literally.”

Despite the need to apologize to his mother, Jordan expressed pride in the campaign, particularly as it coincided with the promotion of Creed III, which was set to be released on March 3.

He said, “This was like a moment, you know? Just to have everything come together at one time, it feels great.

“And to be able to share that moment with my other actors, who are having a moment of their own as well, it just feels special.

“It feels like everything is happening at the right time.”

The campaign was photographed by Mert & Marcus, who are known for their work with high-end fashion brands like Gucci, Versace, and Givenchy.

The photos featured Jordan in a range of poses, showcasing his physique and the Calvin Klein underwear collection.

Jordan also spoke about his role in Creed III, where he reprises his role as Adonis Creed.

He revealed that the film would explore the relationship between Adonis and his father, Apollo Creed, who was famously played by Carl Weathers in the original Rocky franchise.

Jordan said, “We’re definitely diving into the father-son dynamic a lot more.

“I think it’s a huge part of Adonis’ journey, and we’re trying to explore that in a real way.

“We’re trying to take it to another level and just give a deeper perspective on what that relationship was like.”

The actor also discussed the challenges of playing a character in a franchise that has such a passionate fanbase.

He said, “There’s always that pressure to live up to expectations, but at the same time, I think it’s a great opportunity.”

“People are invested in these characters and this world, and it’s always great to be a part of something that people care about.”

Jordan’s career has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with roles in critically acclaimed films like Fruitvale Station and Black Panther.

He has also been praised for his humanitarian work, including his efforts to promote diversity and inclusivity in Hollywood.

Jordan said, “I’m just trying to do the best work that I can and make things that people can enjoy.

“That’s really all it is at the end of the day.”

As for his mother’s reaction to the Calvin Klein campaign, Jordan revealed that she took it in stride.

He said, “She’s a proud mama, you know? She’s just happy that I’m happy and that I’m doing what I love.”

“She’s always been supportive, so it’s all good.”
