Meghan Markle’s Claims About Lack of Protection by the Palace Disputed by Former Aide

Former communications secretary Jason Naff has disputed one of Meghan Markle’s claims made during her controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Markle alleged that the palace refused to offer her protection while she was in the UK, but Naff argues that this is not true.

Charlie Ray, former royal editor at The Sun, suggests that this development indicates the palace officials have reached their limit.

During the Oprah interview, Markle expressed her frustration at the lack of protection she received from the palace during her time as a member of the royal family.

However, the palace has now stated that she was indeed protected.

Naff, who served as Markle’s communications secretary, asserts that he made extensive efforts to ensure her safety.

In response, Ray suggests that Naff has grown tired of the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Markle.

Naff went on to emphasize his commitment to protecting Markle from media intrusion and supporting her.

He made these statements in a letter addressed to Associated Newspaper’s Limited Solicitors, as part of Markle’s court case against the Mail on Sunday Pooleshire.

The letter, which was released in full on Thursday after Markle won a copyright claim against the newspaper, revealed that Naff had led extensive efforts to safeguard the privacy and reputation of the Duchess.

He also condemned racist and sexist coverage of Markle in a press statement issued in his own name back in November 2016.

In her explosive interview with Oprah, Markle claimed that she received no support from the Royal Family and that no attempts were made to counter false stories about her.

She expressed her realization that not only was she lacking protection, but the palace was also willing to lie to protect other members of the family.

Markle accused the palace of concealing the truth about her and Prince Harry.

Adding to the controversy, reports surfaced recently suggesting that Prince Charles has only met his grandson Archie a few times.

Archie, the son of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, turned two years old this week.

According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, Prince Charles and other members of Harry’s family have had very limited interactions with Archie since his birth and before the family left the UK.

The sources also claimed that Archie may have only met his cousins, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, on one occasion.

These latest developments further intensify the ongoing scrutiny surrounding Meghan Markle’s claims and the strained relationship between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family.

As the public awaits further revelations and responses, it remains unclear how these disputes will ultimately impact the perception of the monarchy and its future.
