Megan Fox says it was MGK who told her to go ‘naked’ for the VMAs: ‘Whatever you say, daddy’
At the 2021 VMAs, Megan Fox followed Machine Gun Kelly’s styling advice.
The Jennifer’s Body actress made a splash on the red carpet at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in a transparent illusion dress by Mugler that revealed her silver underwear, and she said that her boyfriend – who donned a bespoke crimson patterned tuxedo – had a big influence in selecting her outfit for the evening.
On the red carpet, ET’s Rachel Smith chatted with the duo and inquired about how they choose their outfits for the big event.
‘He was like, “You’re gonna be naked tonight.” I was like, “Whatever you say, daddy!”‘ she said to Entertainment Tonight.
She didn’t refer to Kelly as “daddy” just once throughout their night at the ceremony, captioning a steamy backstage shot, “Daddy’s gonna win a VMA.”

Fox also said she’s “so proud” of Kelly for all he’s accomplished, adding, “He’s the most talented boy in the world.”

Megan joked that after participating in his Bloody Valentine music video alongside the 31-year-old actor, he won’t be hiring any other ladies in future clips.
“He’s not allowed to have other h**s in his music videos,” Fox added, laughing alongside Kelly. “It’s the queen no one!”
It’s apparently not the first time Kelly has helped his “twin flame” pick out clothes, as Fox told the Post’s Alexa that her date night style is “heavily influenced” by “whatever he pulls out of his closet.”
“We were just wanting to go together, kind of … then people decided we were matching,” the actress added of their often-coordinating styles. “It wasn’t necessarily a planned thing … That’s just how it flowed.”
Kelly has been nominated in the Best Alternative category for his music video “My Ex’s Best Friend”
Megan and Travis’ girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, introduced the Papercuts performance to the crowd, calling the singers their “future baby daddies.”
Kelly’s new single, “Papercuts” was performed alongside his collaborator, Travis Barker, during the event, and Fox was there to support him. The new song will have its international premiere during the concert.
