Margot Robbie has expressed her surprise at being able to perform an “orgy” scene in her new movie Babylon.

The Australian actress stars alongside Diego Calva and Brad Pitt in the Hollywood epic directed by Oscar winner Damien Chazelle.

Reports suggest that the film is controversial and features many graphic scenes, including an early orgy.

Carey Mulligan, who recently spoke with Robbie as part of Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series, described the opening sequence as “enormously debauched”, featuring “lots of people wearing very little or nothing”.

Robbie explained that the scene is essentially a “party-slash-orgy”, and she was shocked that she was able to get away with it.

The actress went on to describe the film as “mad”, saying that when she read the script, she thought it was like a combination of La Dolce Vita and Wolf of Wall Street.

However, she questioned whether they would be allowed to show certain scenes, and whether they would get away with them.

Mulligan revealed that she watched the movie with her mother, who had some interesting thoughts about it.

Robbie joked that everyone should watch Babylon with their parents, as it wouldn’t be awkward at all.

Robbie also recently discussed her kissing scene with Brad Pitt in Babylon.

She revealed that the moment was unscripted, and that she took the opportunity to improvise.

The movie was released in the US on December 23rd, and will be released in the UK on January 23rd.

Babylon has already garnered a lot of attention due to its controversial nature.

It remains to be seen how audiences will react to the film’s depiction of s** and debauchery.
