Margot Robbie fought for full-frontal n^de scenes in Wolf of Wall Street

Margot Robbie has become a household name, thanks to her breakthrough role in the Oscar-winning 2013 film The Wolf of Wall Street.

In the movie, she played Naomi Lapaglia, the second wife of Jordan Belfort, portrayed by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Her entrance in the film was iconic, as she stood completely n^de opposite DiCaprio, wearing only stockings and high heels.

Interestingly, director Martin Scorsese initially wanted to tone down the scene, but Robbie refused.

In an interview with The Telegraph, Robbie spoke out against n^dty for the sake of n^dty and explained that her character’s sexuality and n^dty were essential parts of her background.

She stated that “the whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world.”

Therefore, when Scorsese suggested that she wear a robe during a seduction scene, Robbie insisted on being n^ked, as it was crucial to her character’s identity.

Robbie’s refusal to cover up in the scene has now become one of the most memorable moments in the film and helped establish her as a rising star in Hollywood.

She has since landed major roles, including playing Harley Quinn in the DC Comics franchise and replacing Johnny Depp in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean reboot.

However, despite her success, Robbie has revealed that filming the n^de scene was uncomfortable.

In a 2018 interview, she disclosed that they shot the scene in a tiny bedroom with 30 male crew members present, and she had to pretend to be touching herself for 17 hours.

Despite feeling embarrassed and absurd, Robbie praised the crew for acting professionally and making her feel comfortable during the shoot.

The Wolf of Wall Street was a massive box office success, earning $392 million worldwide and winning five Academy Awards.

Robbie’s portrayal of Naomi Lapaglia earned her widespread acclaim and helped launch her career.

Even DiCaprio, who starred opposite her in the film, praised her acting skills, stating that he knew he was witnessing a “dynamic presence in cinema” when she auditioned for the role.

Although Robbie has come a long way since The Wolf of Wall Street, the film remains an essential part of her journey to stardom.

The scene where she appears n^de has become an iconic moment in cinema history and helped establish her as a fearless actress who is willing to push boundaries and challenge Hollywood’s norms.

While some may criticize the use of n^dty in films, Robbie’s stance on the matter shows that it can be a powerful tool for storytelling and character development when used appropriately.

As she puts it, “seeing someone being choreographed into being covered up irritates me just as much.”

It’s clear that Robbie is committed to portraying her characters authentically, even if it means baring it all on camera.
