Margot Robbie ‘dreaded’ sleeping with Leo DiCaprio

Margot Robbie, the Australian actress, had her breakthrough role in The Wolf of Wall Street, where she played Naomi Belfort, the wife of Jordan Belfort, played by Leonardo DiCaprio.

Robbie, who was 22 years old at the time and had only been acting for a few years, found her role in the film to be intimidating, particularly the n^de scenes.

In an interview with Grazia in 2020, Robbie revealed that she had nerves leading up to her first n^de scene with DiCaprio.

“It was intimidating leading up to it knowing that I had to do it,” she said.

However, she added that the film crew’s professionalism helped to calm her nerves.

“It’s not new to anyone on a film set, so for me, it was intimidating, but for everyone else, it was just another day at the office.”

Robbie explained that she put a lot of thought into doing the n^de scenes.

She considered the fact that the film would be accessible online and thought about the potential impact it might have on her family.

“It’s not just something that affects me; it affects everyone around me,” Robbie said.

She lied to her family about the n^de scenes but felt more at ease about undressing because of the director, Martin Scorsese.

She explained that Scorsese “doesn’t exploit nudity” or use it as a “tool for shock value.”

Despite these challenges, Robbie was able to deliver a stunning performance in The Wolf of Wall Street.

However, there was one scene that she “secretly dreaded” filming.

In a January 2014 interview with IndieWire, Robbie shared that the “nursery scene” involving her, DiCaprio, and their on-screen baby was the most uncomfortable scene for her.

She explained that much of the scene didn’t make the final cut, but the part that did made her feel as though it would be “more uncomfortable to watch” than her and DiCaprio’s final s** scene.

In the scene, Robbie’s character was “effectively masturbating” on camera.

Robbie explained that “relief” washed over her when she learned that much of what she and DiCaprio filmed didn’t make the final cut.

“It was going to be really awkward,” she said.

Despite her anxiety about the scene, Robbie was able to deliver a powerful performance, and The Wolf of Wall Street remains one of her most iconic roles.

The film was a turning point in Robbie’s career, and it was her first major role in a Hollywood movie.

Since then, she has gone on to star in a number of successful films, including I, Tonya, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and Birds of Prey.

With each new role, Robbie has continued to showcase her exceptional talent as an actress, and she has become one of the most sought-after performers in Hollywood.
