For millions of fans who have seen the King play at the greatest level for numerous years, LeBron James’ receding hairline has been a source of contention.

James paid tribute to the back of his balding head and its similarity to a partial Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup on Monday morning, hours before the Lakers faced the Trail Blazers in Game 4 of their first-round series.

The basketball great, 35, took to Instagram yesterday to share a photo of the back of his head side by side with a photo of a peanut butter cup that was half stuck to the wrapper.

“One of the funniest ones I’ve seen,” the 35-year-old superstar captioned the photo. “Hated when my Reese cup would do that but guess what I still kept it and ate is.”

Fans flocked to social media in droves to remark on the amusing snapshot.

One wrote: ‘This is why I love cheering for LeBron James. He can laugh at himself and his hairline on his own page haha.’

‘Every time I see LeBron I think about Reese’s now,’ said another.

And a third added: ‘Which one of y’all said Lebron head look like a half-eaten Reese’s wrapper?? I can’t unsee it.’

James and the Lakers presently hold a 3-1 lead in their first-round series against the Blazers.

The Lakers defeated the Blazers by a score of 135-115 on Kobe Bryant’s birthday.

Following a loss in Game 1 of the series, the Lakers had won three straight games, putting the Blazers on the verge of elimination.

Mamba Day will be observed on August 24th in Orange County and the city of Los Angeles. To honor the late great Kobe Bryant, the LA Lakers will wear special Black Mamba versions of their alternative jersey in Game 4.
