Lady Gaga meets Queen Elizabeth – PHOTOS
Lady GaGa’s performance at the Royal Variety Show last night was unlike anything witnessed in Blackpool, and it’s doubtful the Queen has seen anything like it in all her years and travels.
Lady Gaga performed her song “Speechless” for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England, and the singer most likely left her Royal Highness and everyone in the crowd speechless.
The American singer, known for her outrageous costume collection, outdid herself when she came on stage dressed as Elizabeth I in a red latex gown.
Lady Gaga was the headline performer.
According to the Daily Mail, the “Paparazzi” singer donned the red latex replica of an Elizabethan-era gown with a dramatic neck ruffle and pouf sleeves, and made her arrival with a 20-foot train.

She put on a magnificent performance, as always, playing at a piano elevated high above the stage on spindly stilts.
Gaga then joined the other performers, including Miley Cyrus, Alexandra Burke, and Katherine Jenkins, backstage for her meet-and-greet with the Queen.
GaGa had extravagant sparkling eye make-up and lipstick.
The Royal Variety Show returned to Blackpool for the first time in 54 years, and it was the pinnacle of an incredible night.
The first was named the Royal Command Performance, and it took place in 1912. This year’s event was hosted at the popular tourist destination on England’s west coast.
According to the Mail, Gaga was lifted 30 feet into the air and played a piano with legs taken from surrealist painter Salvador Dali’s “The Temptation of St. Anthony.”
We can only picture the discussion that must have occurred between this most unusual of couples…
Lady Gaga composed “Speechless” to convince her father, who helped her in beating a cocaine addiction, that he needed heart surgery. He was there yesterday night to see his daughter’s performance for the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip.
They shook hands after the performance, with Gaga’s wardrobe reference to the present monarch’s 16th century ancestor creating a memorable scene.
Other celebrity visitors on the event were Britain’s Got Talent winners Diversity, comedian Peter Kay, and suave crooner Michael Buble.
GaGa’s show-stopping performance ended a spectacular visit to England, which included a performance in a huge bath on Sunday’s X Factor program.
She had already stunned customers in North Acton’s The Castle pub by walking in wearing a white leotard, matching minidress, and torn fishnet stockings.
