Kylie Cosmetics Set To Launch In Boots

Kylie Cosmetics is the brand that catapulted Kim Kardashian’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, to the top of her already illustrious family, transforming her from a budding teen beauty entrepreneur in 2014 to the billionaire we know and admire today.

Kylie Jenner’s ultra-defined eyeliner looks and beautiful pouts that she models on social media will soon be available to buy on the high street, according to the announcement that her Kylie Cosmetics brand will be offered at Boots.

Living in the UK might seem like we’re always waiting for the latest goods, with so many iconic beauty companies founded in the US. Of course, some cosmetics fans face the pain of high overseas shipping charges, but the great majority must wait patiently for their purchases to arrive on British soil.

Kylie said on Instagram that the brand would finally be available in IRL Boots shops later this year.

Coty, the parent firm of Max Factor and Rimmel, purchased 51% of the company in 2020 for about £1 billion.

“We are excited about the relaunch of Kylie Cosmetics with a reformulated range that is really at the forefront of everything Gen Z wants,” said Coty CEO Sue Y Nabi.

Since its launch, Kylie Cosmetics has garnered a devoted British following, as has Kylie Skin (the skincare line is already available at Selfridges). But, thanks to the Kylie Cosmetics UK launch, we can finally say goodbye to those pesky international shipping fees. Kylie Cosmetics is now available in Selfridges, making the brand more accessible than ever before to UK customers. Additionally, the Boots.com waiting list is now open! The brand will go live on Boots.com on September 29th, and in select stores on October 5th.

Following steep sales declines during the pandemic’s apex, the UK’s largest beauty retailer is eager to entice customers back into its stores and onto its website. Jenner, a Kardashian scion, is a huge social media celebrity, with 246 million Instagram followers alone.

Kylie Cosmetics is known for its plumping liquid lipsticks and glittery eyeshadow palettes, and this announcement comes after the company underwent a redesign, with Kylie and her team presently revising previous recipes to make them more environmentally friendly.

The 23-year-old told her 246 million Instagram followers. “Everything is clean and vegan, and I can’t wait for you guys to try these new formulas!” Kylie added: “I’m also sooo excited to let you guys know that I’ll be launching soon in @Douglas_Cosmetics @Nocibe_france @HarrodsBeauty @theofficialselfridges @MeccaBeauty @UltaBeauty @Nordstrom @GoldApple @BootsUK and @shoppersdrugmart this year!”

“Launching Kylie Cosmetics is a big moment for us, and we are so excited to announce that her highly-anticipated range will be coming to Boots later this year, making it more accessible to UK customers than ever before,” said Alice Rafferty, Premium Beauty Senior Buying Manager, Boots UK.

Kylie’s lip kit, which comes in 37 different hues and includes full-size Matte Liquid Lipstick and Pencil Lip Liner, is available at Selfridges. The lipstick is vegan, cruelty-free, and highly pigmented, lasting eight hours and resisting smearing, fading, and dampness.

Jenner debuted her cosmetics business in 2015, offering “Kylie Lip Kits” — a selection of lipsticks and lip liners – to allow fans to mimic her signature overlined lips. The first product sold out in under a minute, and she went on to grow the line, including going into skincare in 2019.

Jenner was dubbed the youngest “self-made” billionaire in 2019 thanks to the success of Kylie Cosmetics, causing significant outrage at the notion that her achievement was unconnected to her family’s riches or prominence.

Kylie Cosmetics is the “most-followed beauty brand in the world,” and has just relaunched the products with new “clean and vegan” formulations. Next week, a new direct-to-consumer website will debut in the UK, selling Kylie cosmetics and skincare products side by side for the first time. They will also be accessible in a few high-end department stores.
