Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian swear they’ll be together “forever.” On Sunday night, the reality personality and the singer announced their engagement on Instagram.

Kourtney shared photos of herself and the Blink-182 drummer cuddling on a beach with the caption “forever.” Underneath the post, Barker also wrote “FOREVER”

Barker, 45, proposed to Kardashian, 42, at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel in Montecito, California, surrounded by an extravagant arrangement of red flowers and white candles. He was dressed in a black and white striped shirt with dark slacks, while she was dressed in a flowing black gown.

Close relatives and friends congratulated the couple, including Barker’s children. “Congratulations @kourtneykardash and @travisbarker I’m so happy for you guys love you guys so much!” Landon said on Instagram. “Love u guys,” Alabama said in response to Kardashian’s tweet.

Alabama, too, posted many photographs from the memorable occasion, including one of a beaming Kardashian flaunting her sparkling diamond ring while her fiancé kissed her on the cheek.

The teenager wrote, “So happy for you guys. I love u both ! @kourtneykardash @travisbarker”

Kim Kardashian also posted a video of the couple kissing on Twitter, along with the words “KRAVIS FOREVER,” and a ring emoji.

Kendall Jenner released a zoomed-in photograph of Kardashian’s hand — and engagement ring as she cradled Barker’s face.

According to an eyewitness, the proposal took place around 6:30 p.m., just as the sun was setting, and Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were both present.

“Kourtney looked very surprised to see Khloe and Tristan there,” the insider shares. “Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic. I could see Kourtney smiling from ear to ear and put her hand over her mouth looking surprised. The family cheered for them and went back into the hotel.”

This is surprising news… because, as you may know, the couple only started dating at the beginning of 2021, after being close friends for years. Even so, that was lightning fast!

The couple has been candid about their relationship on social media. Barker, who had not flown since a 2008 aircraft crash in which he and his buddy DJ AM survived but four others died, flew for the first time in more than 20 years in August. He appeared to credit Kardashian for helping him overcome his phobia by posting a selfie of himself outside the plane with her. “With you anything is possible,” he wrote.

Despite their brief relationship, Barker and Kardashian have remained inseparable, attending red carpet events, sharing photos on social media, and more.

The news comes after numerous sources told E! News that the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and the Blink-182 rocker were planning a future together, which might include a wedding.

“They are head over heels and never experienced love like this,” a source said. “Kourtney is the happiest. Travis adores her and treats her so well. It’s very different than her other relationships and all positive.”

Another insider stated that the couple had discussed marriage as they continue to integrate their families.

“It was an instant connection and bond ever since they became romantically involved,” the insider said. “They are in it for the long haul. Everyone in the family adores Travis and their families mesh seamlessly.”

“It’s still something very new to me,” Barker told Nylon, “but having something that gives me the strength and hope to be able to overcome things that were so traumatic in my life, it just says a ton.”

This will mark the first marriage for Kardashian, who famously dated Scott Disick on and off for many years. Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6, are the couple’s three children.

Barker’s engagement occurred after he appeared on Saturday Night Live with Young Thug. Machine Gun Kelly’s album Tickets to My Downfall, which Barker helped compose, produce, and record, was also a collaboration with Barker.

On the Hulu program, which is slated to air later this year, fans will be able to see the couple’s engagement celebration.
