Kevin Hart sued for $60M over his leaked sex tape by co-star

A woman who appeared in a 2017 sex tape with Kevin Hart has filed a $60 million lawsuit against the comedian and others allegedly involved in the film’s development or online release.

Montia Sabbag, 28, said she had sex with Hart three times while partying with him in Las Vegas in August 2017.

Sabagg alleges she was covertly recorded having consensual intercourse with the comedian in a Las Vegas hotel room, according to the suit.

Sabbag charges Hart, Jonathan (JT) Jackson, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and other affiliated businesses with causing deliberate mental distress, negligence, and privacy infringement.

Despite the fact that Hart was married to Eniko Parrish at the time, Montia believes he gave Jackson permission to videotape them in his private suite.

Sabbag says she “had no knowledge” that her and Hart’s “intimate activity” was being videotaped.

The model is shown naked from the waist down in the video, which was shared online in September 2017.

“Hart conspired with Jackson to intentionally record Ms Sabbag naked and engaged in private sexual relations with Hart in a private bedroom at the Cosmopolitan without her knowledge or consent for the purpose of obtaining tremendous financial benefit for himself,” according to the lawsuit.

After the footage was made public in September 2017, Hart said on Instagram that he was being extorted and apologized to his wife and children: “I made a bad error in judgement and put myself in an environment where only bad things can happen, and they did.”

Following the allegations, Jackson was arrested and charged with extortion.

Jackson allegedly tried to sell the footage to several celebrity news websites after Hart refused to pay him off, according to prosecutors. The investigation is still underway.

Sabbag held a news conference with celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom, denying the extortion allegations.

According to USA Today, “Montia and I are not asking for a cent from Kevin Hart,” According to the lawyer, Sabbag and Hart were both “victims” of the filming.

According to the lawsuit, Hart “conspired” with Jackson and reaped “tremendous financial benefit” from the video, which he used to promote a tour he was on at the time and “increase his overall pop culture status.”

The model and actress is seeking £48 million ($60 million).

Hart is now recovering from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on September 1st, early in the morning.
