Kendall Jenner Shows Off Her Thong in barely-there dress at the Met Gala

Kendall Jenner can stand out on any runway or red carpet, and on fashion’s biggest night of the year, the 21-year-old model made sure all eyes were on her when she stepped onto the iconic 2017 Met Gala steps in a sheer mesh La Perla Haute Couture gown — complete with a thong and, yes, her bare bottom.

Despite the fact that the dress was totally sheer, it was embellished with 85,000 crystals that glistened in the light of the cameras.

According to the company, the bespoke La Perla design took over 160 hours to complete, spanning 5 locations and 26 craftsmen.

Jenner’s slip also had a big cut-out across the front, revealing her toned midriff and staying loyal to the night’s avant-garde concept. She carried the spangly theme through to pointed pumps in the same finish. The footwear choice felt more directed than, say, last season’s translucent shoe, a Jenner style trademark.

The diva, who has never been afraid to bare all for the camera because of her job as a Victoria’s Secret model, appeared to be having a great time practically nude on the carpet, and grinned as she posted for photographs.

The model also used Estée Lauder to get dressed, as she lounged in a robe and gel eye patches and documented the scene on Snapchat. Jenner wore a delicate smokey eye and a strong lip, and her brown lob was disheveled and split to the side.

Kylie Jenner also made an appearance on the red carpet, flaunting her hourglass figure in a skin-colored Versace gown and a platinum blonde hairstyle.

However, the family’s matriarch, Kris Jenner, did not attend this year’s celebration, as did Kanye West, who allegedly wanted to “take more time off.”

The black tie party, which raises funds for the Costume Institute, is an annual event that features some of Hollywood’s greatest stars competing for attention on the red carpet.

Last year’s gala, dubbed “the Oscars of the East Coast,” drew 600 people, but a museum representative said the event will be more “intimate” this year.
