The Met Gala 2021 is unquestionably fashion’s greatest night out. One celebrity demonstrated why they are THE supermodel for a reason as the top names in the industry walked the Met Gala red carpet in the most strange, expensive, and unusual outfits. Kendall Jenner was photographed in a transparent outfit that left nothing to the imagination.

Jenner’s Givenchy sheer gown was decorated with tiny crystals with a dramatic train. The model wore a dress with a stunning jewelled neckpiece and elaborate shoulder pads, both of which were clearly inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s original.

Kendall wore crystal fringed embellished opera gloves that were connected to her outfit. Kendall’s appearance was dramatically improved by the diamond choker. She completed her look with strappy nude heels, little make-up, and a neat middle-parted hairdo.

The outfit was inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s dress from My Fair Lady, which she wore in the film. The dress had the same jewel-embellished sleeves and a choker, but it wasn’t as transparent.

“I love Audrey, so we really wanted to take a special moment of hers and make it our own,” Jenner told Vogue US of her red carpet outfit. “I feel like he [Matt] did an amazing job as she wore Givenchy all the time.”

Jenner was spotted in New York City with her beau during fashion week. “They’re not putting any sort of pressure on things for the future,” a source told Entertainment Tonight last month. “They’re not putting any sort of pressure on things for the future. They realize they’re both still young and have big futures ahead of them. Right now they’re just enjoying their time together and taking things as they come.”

Givenchy Creative Director Matthew M Williams gave a few peeks of Kendall Jenner’s red carpet outfit on his Instagram stories. She handled herself admirably on the red carpet in the enthralling gown. Kendall’s renowned family also walked the red carpet, with mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian both wearing all-black outfits that have been the talk of the town due to their unusual look. Kylie Jenner, who is pregnant, opted out of the America-themed celebration. Kendall first attended the Met Gala when she was 18 years old, and she has since been a fixture at the yearly event.

Matthew Williams said: “It was that connection with French couture and American culture.”

“We were friends [Williams and Jenner] before I started at Givenchy so we hung out during the summer and worked on the dress and she came to Paris.”
