The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, made a stunning appearance at day four of Royal Ascot, dressed entirely in red.

The custom-made Alexander McQueen gown had long sleeves with a little shoulder puff and gathered cuffs, a V-neck that crossed over into a waistline, and a belt.

The midi-length dress had a gathered A-line shirt that gave the silhouette some structure.

Kate also opted for a brand-new Philip Treacy hat in the same shade of red and a brand-new pair of 580lb Jennifer Tremendi Lorenzo 105 red sweet pumps, which she wore without the strap.

While many royal fans appreciated the color and the overall look, some weren’t lovers of the accessories she chose.

There were several questions about the earrings and clutch bag in particular.

Her Cezanne Esme gold brass earrings presented yesterday didn’t mix in with her overall finished and polished look, according to several fans, who also objected to Kate’s clutch bag.

Some people commented that the clutch bag’s material appeared cheap and that it was a darker shade of red.
