According to a recent report, the daughters of two of the biggest celebrities in the world have never played together.

Blue Ivy, daughter of Jay Z and Beyoncé, and North West, daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, have yet to engage in any playdates.

This lack of interaction has been attributed to Beyoncé’s supposed dislike of Kim.

A source close to the situation spoke to Page Six and shared some insight into the relationship between the two women.

The source stated that, “Beyoncé has never genuinely liked Kim. She’s mostly tolerated her because of their husbands’ friendship and [their] mutual friends, like Jennifer Lopez.”

“She is always a little icy to Kim. The last time they hung out, the minute Beyoncé could leave the conversation, she did.”

“They always have lots of awkward pauses [when they speak].”

It appears that Beyoncé attempted to form a relationship with Kim, but eventually decided to keep her distance.

This could explain why she did not attend Kanye and Kim’s wedding in 2014, despite having their names engraved on a table where they were supposed to sit during the dinner.

The source also mentioned that Beyoncé and Jay Z miss the “old Kanye” and that she dislikes it when he makes appearances on “Keeping up with the Kardashians.”

The source shared, “[She] always gives Kanye a lot of grief whenever he’s done anything for the show.”

It’s not surprising that Blue Ivy and North West have never played together, as it is likely that their mothers have little in common.

The reported “awkward pauses” between Beyoncé and Kim could also make social situations uncomfortable for those around them.

Kim may have tried at one point to be friends with Beyoncé, but it seems that she has given up on that effort.

It is safe to say that Beyoncé is not losing any sleep over the situation. The likelihood of a Carter-West playdate or cookout is very low.
