Justin Bieber ordered to pay $80,000 for egging neighbor’s house
Justin Bieber has been ordered to pay the victim the astounding figure in damages after he was charged with criminal vandalism for causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to a resident’s house in Calabasas, California, earlier this year.
To avoid a criminal conviction, Bieber took a no contest plea to the misdemeanor and was ordered to pay $80,900 in restitution. Bieber and a group of buddies were accused of egging his neighbor’s expensive exterior.
Bieber was also sentenced to two years of probation, six days of community service, and 12 sessions of anger management programs by a Los Angeles County court.
According to his lawyer Shawn Holley, the musician has already paid the full sum to his former neighbors to repair damage to their southern California property and has finished half of his 12-week anger management program.

Shawn Holley, Bieber’s lawyer, said she expects the 20-year-old pop singer to finish the anger management programs and five days of community service by February 10, 2015.
Bieber, who was not present at the court on Monday, was seen exiting a late-night bible study session in New York over the weekend.
Bieber’s probation officer said in court records acquired by EW that Bieber “has been cooperative with probation efforts,” having signed a magnificent $80,900 reparation check to his former neighbor.
Following the egging, the singer has continued to run into legal issues, with police visiting his house six times in one weekend during the summer after his neighbors informed them of his wild parties.
His wild parties lasted until 3 a.m., and his neighbors were always complaining about him speeding on the highways and smoking pot in front of children.
Keyshawn Johnson, an NFL player, had also filed a lawsuit against Bieber for speeding. Due to a lack of evidence, prosecutors did not file charges at the time.
According to TMZ, Bieber will volunteer at MusiCares, a non-profit organization that assists artists with health and addiction concerns.
As part of his punishment for egging his former neighbor’s home, Justin will paint walls and move office furniture at the Los Angeles-based organization, according to TMZ.
According to authorities, the damage to Web entrepreneur Jeff Schwartz’s property exceeded $20,000, making it a felony.
Bieber was required to remain away from Schwartz as part of the agreement. Bieber had previously been accused of spitting on the same neighbor, but he was never charged.
Bieber is now paying $29,500 a month for a luxurious Hollywood Hills home that formerly housed “American Idol” and “X Factor” hopefuls. Selena Gomez, his on-again, off-again girlfriend, temporarily lived into the residence with him before moving out following their recent breakup.
