After years of speculation, actor Jon Hamm has finally put an end to rumors about his underwear habits.

“By the way, as rumors go—not the worst.”

Stern praised Hamm for finally putting the rumors to rest.

“You’re a gentleman to have not addressed this before now,” he said.

“You’ve handled this the way you handle everything—with grace.”

Hamm also joked that he was surprised by the level of attention the rumor had received.

“It was a little bit of a shock to me and also a lot of people,” he said.

“They’re called ‘privates’ for a reason.”

“I’m wearing pants, for f***’s sake. Lay off.”

Hamm’s comments have put an end to years of speculation about his underwear habits.

Fans can now rest easy knowing that the actor does indeed wear underwear, and that his “impressive anatomy” was not a distraction on the set of Mad Men.
