Johnny Depp’s guard was asked about his D*** in court

Johnny Depp laughed out loud in court after his bodyguard was asked if he had seen the actor’s p-nis.

The incident occurred during the defamation trial between Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard.

The trial, which began on 11 April in Fairfax, Virginia, sees Depp suing Heard for $50m over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in which she referred to herself as a “public figure representing domestic abuse”.

Although Heard did not name Depp in the article, his lawyers claim that it made it difficult for him to land film roles.

Depp’s bodyguard, Malcom Connolly, accompanied the couple to Australia in 2015, when the actor severed his finger.

At the time, Depp was filming the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

When questioned in court about the incident, Heard’s lawyer asked Connolly if he had seen Depp trying to urinate “in the foyer” and “with his p-nis out”.

Connolly responded by saying that he “would remember” if he had seen Depp’s p-nis.

The court was then played a recording of Depp from their time in Australia.

In the recording, he can be heard shouting “how you f***** me over” and “make me feel sick”.

Connolly confirmed that Depp was angry at the time.

The hearing also trended on social media, with some users mocking the line of questioning.

Heard’s lawyer asked Connolly: “When you arrived at the house, you could hear a ruckus. Correct?” Connolly admitted that he could hear a ruckus, but only “shouting”.

He said he could not make out the words.

The lawyer then asked the bodyguard: “You went inside the house and saw Mr Depp in the foyer. Correct?” Connolly said yes.

The lawyer then asked: “Mr Depp was trying to urinate in the foyer, wasn’t he?” When the bodyguard said “no”, the lawyer asked: “Mr Depp had his p-nis out, didn’t he?” Connolly responded by saying: “I think I would remember if I’d seen Mr Depp’s p-nis,” prompting laughter from Depp and other court attendees.

During the trial, Depp and Heard have both made accusations about the other.

Depp has accused Heard of being violent towards him during their marriage, while Heard has accused Depp of domestic abuse.

The couple divorced in 2017, after which Heard donated her $7m divorce settlement to charity.

In a written statement, Depp said that he had “decided to file this defamation lawsuit and not one of the other options available to me” because he wanted “to clear my name and restore my reputation after Miss Heard’s false allegations against me”.

Heard has said that she wrote the op-ed to “speak out about domestic violence and to help other survivors”.

Depp has faced other legal issues in recent years.

In 2018, he settled a lawsuit against his former managers, who he accused of mismanaging his finances.

He also settled a lawsuit against a writer who claimed that Depp had assaulted him.

In 2020, Depp lost a libel case against The Sun newspaper, which had claimed that he was a “wife-beater”.
