Jennifer Lawrence does not like to diet

Jennifer Lawrence claims that she does not diet since she prefers to exercise to keep in shape.

The no-nonsense actress, who will star in the highly anticipated forthcoming film The Hunger Games, has a few pet peeves: phonies, complainers, and individuals who claim to enjoy exercise.

“I hate saying, ‘I like exercising’. I want to punch people who say that in the face. But it’s nice being in shape for a movie, because they basically do it all for you. It’s like, ‘Here’s your trainer. This is what you can eat’. I don’t diet. I do exercise! But I don’t diet. You can’t work when you’re hungry, you know?,” Lawrence explained.

Lawrence’s major concern these days is her work. Lawrence, who plays Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games, is well aware that her fame is set to launch into another orbit with the premiere of the film next month.

“I feel like I got a ticket to go to another planet and I’m moving there and there’s no turning back, and I don t know if I’m going to like that other planet or have friends there,” she tells the magazine. “It’s daunting.”

“The people who used to ignore me at parties, now they’re nice to me and kissing my ass. But nobody’s stakedoutside of my house,” she explained.

“I wanted to make sure that when I said yes [to the role], I wouldn t regret it. And I don’t regret it. I would have said no because I was scared, and then I would have been that bitter actress telling my grandkids, ‘I’m the one that turned it down.’ ”

Jennifer Lawrence’s Butt Nearly Killed Someone – The Graham Norton Show (screen grab)

Jennifer Lawrence is known for her clumsiness, but her most recent admission about an onset mistake may deter prospective crew members from working with her.

The 26-year-old Oscar winner appeared on The Graham Norton Show on Friday, when she told a story about nearly killing a crew member on the set of The Hunger Games while scratching her butt.

The actress and her co-stars were instructed not to touch sacred stones on the water’s edge while filming the second episode of the Hunger Games trilogy, Catching Fire. “There were sacred rocks,” she explained, “and you’re not supposed to sit on them because you’re not supposed to expose your genitalia to them.” Because the actress spent the majority of the filming in a wetsuit, she believed it was OK to use the pebbles to scratch a troublesome itch on her bottom, or as she put it, “They were so good for butt itching!”

The move supplied Lawrence with the fulfillment he was hoping for, but it almost killed him!

“One rock that I was butt scratching on ended up coming loose, and it was a giant boulder and it rolled down this giant mountain and almost killed our sound guy.”

“And this whole station got destroyed, it was a huge dramatic deal. And all the Hawaiians were like ‘it’s the curse!’. And I was in the corner going ‘I’m your curse’. I wedged it loose with my ass.’ ”

The crowd and the show’s other guests, renowned chef Jaime Oliver and Hollywood actor Chris Pratt, laughed heartily at the rough recollection.

Lawrence’s next movie Passengers is one of the year’s most eagerly awaited films. Lawrence and Pratt star as passengers on an interplanetary starship destined for a new planet, whose sleep pods are deactivated 90 years too early, according to director Morten Tyldum.
