Jennifer Aniston may be America’s sweetheart, but in the 1990s, one actor had a tumultuous interaction with her. Jay Mohr’s said that his time on the set of Picture Perfect wasn’t the highlight of his career, and Aniston may be to blame. Mohr shared his most embarrassing encounter in the entertainment industry in a lengthy interview.

In fact, their work relationship was also a bit hasty.

The “Picture Perfect” actress was allegedly not pleased when the “Friends” actor beat her then lover Tate Donovan to the role of her love interest in the 1997 picture “Ghost Whisperer.”

Jennifer, rather than venting her rage on the studio, took it out on him, according to Mohr.

Working with the Friends alum was one of the worst filming experiences of Jay’s life, he claimed in a 2010 interview with Elle.

“Being on the set of a movie where the leading woman was unhappy with my presence and made it clear from day one,” he said.

Jay continued, “I hadn’t done that many movies, and even though they screen-tested some pretty famous guys, I somehow snaked into the leading role.”

He said, “The actress said, ‘No way! You’ve got to be kidding me!’ Loudly. Between takes. To other actors on set. I would literally go to my mom’s house and cry.” He would not, however, disclose that Aniston was the actress who made him cry.

On his podcast, Mohr Stories, Mohr subsequently claimed that Aniston was the actor that was the most difficult to deal with. Mohr said that Aniston heckled him on the set of Picture Perfect in one episode. “Jennifer Aniston was so f****** mean to me!” he said emphatically. Mohr has previously starred on Saturday Night Live and The Jeff Foxworthy Show before the 1997 film. Later, Mohr worked on a number of different projects. He’s also appeared in a number of animated shows and video games, as well as filming many comedy specials.

Jerry Maguire, Small Soldiers, Suicide Kings, and Picture Perfect were among the films through which the 49-year-old gained fame.

In the 1990s, Donovan and Aniston dated for several years before calling it quits. In 1998, he had a guest appearance on Friends as Joshua. When Donovan first came on the show, he and Aniston were in the middle of a breakup. Aniston eventually married Brad Pitt, who had previously starred on Friends as a guest star. In 2005, Pitt and Aniston split.
