Jennifer Aniston begged to cut t0pless scene

Jennifer Aniston reportedly made a last-minute request to have a topless scene cut from her new movie “Wanderlust” out of respect for her boyfriend and co-star Justin Theroux.

The scene in question shows Aniston going topless during a protest caught by TV news cameras.

It was originally shot with frontal nudity, but the final cut only shows Aniston from behind, with the TV screens pixelating her chest.

An insider revealed that Aniston “pleaded” for an alternate version of the scene to be used in the film once she began her relationship with Theroux.

“Wanderlust” follows the story of a Manhattan couple played by Aniston and Paul Rudd, who find themselves at a commune where members often go nude.

Many nudists were used as extras in the movie, and while the insider tells The Wrap that Aniston requested a replacement scene, a spokeswoman for Universal Pictures denies the report.

Aniston herself commented on the topless scene, saying that although it wasn’t completely comfortable, once adrenaline kicked in, it was over in just a few takes.

Meanwhile, Theroux spoke about working with the extras who were nudists, stating that they were unfazed by the situation, simply saying, “Whatever, we’re n^ked.”

Despite the denial from Universal Pictures and Aniston’s reps, sources claim that the scene was indeed reshot after Aniston’s request.

The actress has spoken out about feeling uncomfortable with n^dty in the past, and it’s no surprise that she would want to avoid any potential awkwardness with her partner.

Aniston and Theroux began dating in 2011, shortly before filming “Wanderlust.” The couple later got engaged in 2012 and married in 2015, but they ultimately split in late 2017.

Fans of the couple have long been intrigued by their on-screen chemistry, and it seems that their personal relationship may have impacted how the movie was presented.

The decision to cut the scene also highlights the ongoing debate about s** and n^dty in movies and TV.

While some argue that it’s essential to tell certain stories, others believe that it can be gratuitous and objectifying.

Aniston’s request to have the scene cut demonstrates her desire to maintain a level of privacy and respect in her relationship.

“Wanderlust” received mixed reviews upon its 2012 release, with some critics praising the chemistry between Aniston and Rudd, while others found the film to be predictable and lacking in substance.

Despite this, the movie has remained a popular choice for fans of romantic comedies and boasts an impressive cast, including Kathryn Hahn, Malin Akerman, and Alan Alda.
