Jamie Lee Curtis wore only a ‘bra and knickers’ to Film Festival

Cate Blanchett made a funny revelation at the 34th Annual Palm Springs Film Festival, where she and Jamie Lee Curtis almost missed the ceremony.

The award-winning actress shared the story during her acceptance speech as she received the Desert Palm Achievement Award, presented to her by Curtis.

The two friends were carpooling to the event when Curtis stepped out wearing only her bra and knickers.

Blanchett also spoke about the conversation that almost made her miss the event.

She revealed that she and Curtis had a lengthy discussion about what she should wear, while the True Lies star was “appalled by” Blanchett’s packing.

The role of intimacy coordinators is to ensure that the actors feel safe and comfortable while shooting these scenes.

The film follows the story of Lydia Tár, who was considered one of the greatest living composer-conductors and the first female director of a major German orchestra.

In a press release, festival chairman Harold Matzner hailed Blanchett as “one of the best actresses of this generation.”

Blanchett also took to the stage to present the Chairman’s Award to Viola Davis for her work on The Woman King.

She expressed her desire to work with Davis in the future, saying, “There are some actors that you aspire to know, some that you aspire to work with and learn from.”

The two actresses recently starred together in the upcoming science fiction film Borderlands, which is based on a video game of the same name.

The movie is set on the abandoned planet of Pandora, where people search for a mysterious relic.

Other stars in the film include Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Bobby Lee, and Gina Gershon.

Blanchett has won the Desert Palm Achievement Award before, in 2016, for her performances in Carol and Truth.

The award is presented to actors who have made significant contributions to the film industry.

The festival, which is held annually in Palm Springs, California, showcases the best films of the year and awards top performers.

Blanchett’s award-winning performance in Tár has been hailed as one of her best.

That’s why.” Seyfried emphasized that she wishes intimacy coordinators had been around to support her during this time.

Seyfried has previously spoken out against being s**ualized in her early career, including in 2004’s Mean Girls, when she was just 18.

She recalled feeling “grossed out” by boys asking whether she could predict the weather with her breasts, as her character Karen claimed to do.

Seyfried’s comments have come in the wake of Sean Bean’s questioning of the necessity of intimacy coordinators.

Bean claimed that they “inhibit” his performances and “spoil the spontaneity” of s** scenes.

Seyfried’s comments were supported by other actors, including Rachel Zegler, who tweeted that intimacy coordinators “establish an environment of safety for actors.” Zegler also recalled a positive experience she had while working with an intimacy coordinator as a newcomer on the set of West Side Story.

Jameela Jamil also tweeted that “nobody wants an impromptu grope,” while Lena Hall, Bean’s Snowpiercer co-star, said she was “comfortable” with Bean but still believed that intimacy coordinators were a “welcome addition to the set.”

The head of British broadcast union Bectu, Philippa Childs, criticized Bean’s comments, saying they failed to acknowledge “his position of privilege and the vulnerabilities and challenges many in the industry, particularly young and less experienced actors, may face as they engage in shooting intimate scenes.” Intimacy coordinators have gained popularity in recent years as a way to ensure actors feel safe and supported during s** scenes.

They work with actors and directors to choreograph scenes and ensure that actors are comfortable with the actions required of them.

Intimacy coordinators also provide support for actors who may have experienced trauma or discomfort in previous scenes.

They can help actors establish boundaries and communicate their needs to directors and other actors.

Seyfried emphasized the importance of these professionals, stating that “there’s no better time for an intimacy coordinator than now, when people are so afraid of offending and doing the wrong thing.”
