Jamie Lee Curtis faces backlash for hanging photo of naked child in her office

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis is facing backlash on social media after sharing an Instagram post featuring a photo of her office, which included a framed image of a naked child in a box.

The post, which has since been deleted, was intended to showcase her “beautiful Pollack chairs” that she acquired during the filming of her recent movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”

However, many on Twitter took issue with the presence of the naked child photo, drawing comparisons to the late Jeffrey Epstein, who was known for owning explicit and eccentric artwork.

Illinois Republican Congressional candidate Jack Lombardi II commented, “Hollyweird strikes again!” while radio show host Stew Peters wrote, “Why does Jamie Lee Curtis have a picture of a naked child stuffed inside a suitcase on her wall? Strong Epstein vibes.”

Media personality David Vance also weighed in, asking Curtis to explain the photo on her wall. Conservative activist Rogan O’Handley also expressed concern, writing, “We have serious questions.”

Former Washington state Republican Congressional candidate Scott Stephenson simply responded with, “What the actual f—.”

Curtis’s initial post also mentioned that she was currently battling COVID-19, which may have contributed to her decision to share the photo of her office.

In the post, she wrote, “Ok. This is a weird post. But I have Covid, so f*ck it. During one of the SAG nomination panels for @everythingeverywheremovie I told the story of how I ended up with my office furnished with my beautiful Pollack chairs from that movie.”

The actress also explained her reasoning for sharing the photo, stating that she wanted to be a “truth teller” and that she couldn’t think of another way to share the photo with the world.

“I am a truth teller so here you go,” she wrote.

It appears that Curtis’s Twitter account has been suspended following the backlash.

The actress, who is known for her roles in films such as “Halloween” and “Freaky Friday,” recently starred in the movie “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”
