Jake Gyllenhaal talks seeing Stephen Colbert’s entire penis On ‘The Late Show’

Jake Gyllenhaal has been on The Late Show before. His recent appearance, in which he played an orphan youngster opposite an undressed Ebeneezer Scrooge/Stephen Colbert for the Midterm Election special, was certainly noteworthy.

As Colbert displayed a snapshot from the sketch, Gyllenhaal recalled, “Yes, that was the day I saw your entire penis.”

The host joked, “You know, they say you never forget the day…” before the conversation quickly delved into penis double entendres.

There are lots of puns after that (“It’s not a long… day,” Colbert chips in). “It was a short day for me,” Gyllenhaal concurred.

Colbert also irritated the “Spider-Man: Far From Home” actor for something he said in a 2017 interview. Gyllenhaal came across a video of the presenter telling his sister Maggie that she is the better Gyllenhaal.

“It’s cool but it’s just not something you say on national TV,” Gyllenhaal said in mock anger.

“I was just trying to make her feel good,” Colbert stated, which will almost certainly get him in further trouble the next time Maggie appears on the program.

On Monday’s “Late Show,” a pantsless Stephen Colbert gave movie star Jake Gyllenhaal a scare during a comic segment about the midterm elections.

The television presenter teamed up with Jake Gyllenhaal in an uncomfortable skit Monday night to remind viewers to vote via a parody of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” dubbed “‘Twas The Night Before Election Day.”

Ebenezer Colbert was visited by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senator Chuck Grassley, and Senator Orrin Hatch in this new scenario, before waking up to discover he had not missed the big election.

As the camera pans to framed photos of Republican lawmakers Mitch McConnell, Chuck Grassley, and Orrin Hatch, he exclaims, “Last night I dreamt I was visited by three ghosts! There they are.”

Colbert called down to a passing “boy,” Gyllenhaal, from his balcony to inquire about the day.

“What day is it? What day is it?” he asks in a panic.

Gyllenhaal replied, “It’s Monday, the day before midterms.”

When Colbert found out it was the day before midterms, he threw Gyllenhaal a “shiny silver crown” and told him to go out and buy “the biggest midterm goose” he could find. The fact that he could see right up Colbert’s nightgown that the Late Show host was not wearing underwear, however, was more distracting to the actor. Gyllenhaal told him, “I can see all the election returns, and they’re all swinging left.”

The host, on the other hand, seemed unconcerned as he reveled in the momentous day—without pants.

“Dude, let me be clear,” Gyllenhaal re-echoed. “Your entire penis is visible!”

“Again, you really need to put on pants,” he continued.

Colbert stated he had “no time” to put on some underpants because he had an important show to conduct.

On Election Day, Colbert will be live for special coverage of the midterm elections.
