Inmates reveal Lindsay Lohan getting special treatment in jail

Lindsay Lohan is currently serving a 90-day sentence in the Los Angeles County jail for violating her probation by missing a string of alcohol education classes this year.

Upon her arrival on Tuesday, some inmates reportedly cheered her and shouted “God bless you!”

However, rumors have since circulated among the prison population that Lohan is receiving special treatment.

One recently released inmate, Debra Sickels, claimed that a special room was cleaned for Lohan with a hospital bed, TV, and dresser for her new clothes and socks.

Sickels also said that some inmates were becoming upset over the alleged special treatment.

“She’s getting special treatment. Some inmates were getting pissy over it,” Sickels said.

Other inmates have also claimed that Lohan is paying for special food and new clothes and has access to a private phone and a female guard.

However, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles sheriff’s department, Steve Whitmore, has denied these allegations, stating that Lohan is being treated like any other inmate in her classification and that there is no special treatment being given to her.

In addition to these rumors, it has also been reported that Lohan has been given permission to take certain prescription drugs while in jail, including the stimulant Adderall for attention deficit disorder and the sleeping pill Ambien.

All inmates are allowed to spend up to $135 a week on items from the jail’s commissary, which includes items such as Spicy Velveeta Refried Beans, Spam, Kit Kat candy bars, and Country Time Raspberry Lemonade.

Lohan’s defense lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, stopped by for a visit on the actress’s second day in jail, although he did not answer any questions.

Later in the day, Lohan’s mother, Dina, and younger sister Ali also visited the jail.

One inmate claimed that the jail was put on lockdown for the duration of the visit, causing delays in release for some prisoners.

“I sat there for four hours waiting to get released because of her,” said Sharell Gaines, who spent a week in jail for traffic tickets.

“They put us on lockdown and told us not to look. It’s discrimination. She’s a criminal, just like me.”

Despite the alleged special treatment and rumors of preferential treatment, it is expected that Lohan will serve as little as two weeks due to good behavior and jail overcrowding.

The actress, best known for her roles in “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday,” has had a number of legal issues in the past and has faced probation violations and jail time on multiple occasions.
