Jake Gyllenhaal has revealed that he was extremely nervous when he met Brad Pitt for the first time on the set of the 2002 film “The Good Girl,” in which Gyllenhaal co-starred with Pitt’s then-wife, Jennifer Aniston.

In an interview with W Magazine, Gyllenhaal said that Pitt’s fame made him nervous, and he accidentally hit the door while attempting to shake Pitt’s hand.

However, Pitt was kind and reassuring, telling Gyllenhaal that he had another hand to shake.

Gyllenhaal also admitted on The Howard Stern Show in October 2021 that he had a crush on Aniston while they were filming “The Good Girl.”

He described the experience as “torture,” but also acknowledged that it was a mix of both torture and pleasure.
