Angelina Jolie’s former bodyguard Mark Behar claims that he caught Angelina and Brad Pitt “making out” in their trailers while filming the 2005 action-comedy film “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Behar revealed that “Angelina and Brad were constantly laughing and flirting with each other and acting like two school kids who had the hots for each other, and it was so cute”.

Behar also said that he helped pass notes between the two stars. However, both denied anything physical happened.

Other on-set sources claimed that Angelina removed her flesh-coloured underwear during a love scene with Brad.

According to an insider, “In the end, she shunned the suit and climbed in bed with him nk’d! It’s the biggest thing we all remember from that film,” but Angelina has never addressed these claims.

Angelina opened up about her relationship with Brad in a 2006 interview with Vogue, revealing that she had no intention of stealing him from his then-wife Jennifer Aniston. Angelina said that when they first met, “it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects”. S

he added, “And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives… I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn’t. I was quite content to be a single mom.”

Angelina also revealed that they quickly “became a pair” and found “joy” in everything they did together.

She said that she “couldn’t wait” to get to work each day, but it wasn’t until filming ended that they began to contemplate a relationship.

“It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we’d earlier allowed ourselves to believe. And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration,” she said.

“We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things.”

Angelina and Brad both initially denied any romantic involvement, but when Brad split from Jen less than a year later, they confirmed that they had “fallen in love” during the 2004 shoot.

Brad and Angelina’s romance broke Jennifer’s heart, especially when Angelina fell pregnant so quickly.

In a 2005 Vanity Fair interview, Jen cried silently for several minutes, unable to stop the tears rolling down her cheeks before shaking her head, too hurt to give an answer.

As for whether she believed the rumors that Brad and Angelina had had a full-blown affair, Jennifer said, “I choose to believe my husband. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything, but I would much rather choose to believe him.”

The line from friends was that Brad had wanted to work out what he wanted in life – as a single man – and that he assured Jen, “This is not about another woman.”

However, the strength of her belief was shaken when pictures surfaced of Brad playing the doting dad to Angelina’s adopted son Maddox on the beach in Africa on April 29.

In her Vogue interview, Angelina said that after Jen and Brad’s split, things developed in a way where they could be together.

She said, “It felt like something we would do, we should do.”

Angelina and Brad remained “very, very good friends” despite the circumstances surrounding their relationship.

They were together for 12 years, during which they got married and had six children together.

The news of Brad and Angelina’s romance broke in January 2005, and it wasn’t long before rumors started to circulate that they had an affair while Brad was still married to Jennifer.

The rumors were fueled by the undeniable chemistry between Brad and Angelina in the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, which they both starred in.

In the movie, they played a couple who were secretly assassins, and their chemistry was palpable on screen.

In his book “Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie,” author Ian Halperin claimed that Brad and Angelina had a “wild, wild time” during the filming of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” and that they had “raunchy sex scenes” that “set the stage for their off-screen relationship.”

Halperin also claimed that Angelina “seduced” Brad with a “saucy move” during one of the sex scenes.

He said that Angelina “removed her bra, put Brad’s hand on her breast, and then they went for it. This was the moment when she really won Brad over. He was smitten.”

Despite the rumors and the media attention, Brad and Angelina remained tight-lipped about their relationship for a long time.

It wasn’t until 2011, in an interview with Parade, that Brad finally confirmed that he and Angelina were a couple.

He said, “One of the greatest, smartest things I ever did was give my kids Angie as their mom. She is such a great mom. Oh man, I’m so happy to have her.”

Angelina also spoke about her relationship with Brad in a 2014 interview with Elle.

She said, “We have moments where I say, ‘I’m going to be a better wife! I’m going to learn to cook,’ and he says, ‘Oh honey, know what you’re good at, know what you’re not.’ But I do like, ‘No, no, no, I’m going to get this wife thing down.'”

Despite their initial chemistry and long-lasting relationship, Brad and Angelina announced their separation in 2016, and their divorce was finalized in 2019.

Their split was marred by allegations of infidelity on Brad’s part, with reports suggesting that he had an affair with his “Allied” co-star Marion Cotillard.

However, both Brad and Marion denied the rumors, and Marion even issued a statement saying that she was happily married and expecting her second child with her husband.

Angelina has been vocal about the struggles of their divorce and how it affected her mental health.

In a 2020 interview with Vogue, she said, “I separated for the well-being of my family. It was the right decision.”

“I continue to focus on their healing. Some have taken advantage of my silence, and the children see lies about themselves in the media, but I remind them that they know their own truth and their own minds.”
