Emily Carey, the 19-year-old actress who plays Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon, has admitted to feeling “scared” while shooting s** scenes with Paddy Considine, who is 30 years older than her.

In the prequel series, Alicent marries King Viserys, played by Paddy, who is 49.

The latest episode of the show features Alicent and Viserys, who have been married for three years and have two children, engaging in a s** scene.

Emily revealed that she was initially apprehensive about the scene as she had not yet met Paddy.

In an interview with Newsweek, Emily said, “It scared me because, at that point, I still hadn’t met Paddy.

I didn’t know how much of a joy he was and how easy he was going to make the scene.”

She also mentioned that the first scene she read from the show was her s** scene and intimacy scenes, which made her nervous.

Emily prepared for her role by watching Game of Thrones, but the violent s** portrayed on the show made her even more nervous.

However, she was comforted by the on-set presence of an intimacy coordinator, whose demand has increased after the MeToo movement in 2017.

Emily praised the coordinator’s help during rehearsals and on set, saying that it made the experience a lot easier than she thought it would be.

The latest episode of House of The Dragon, titled King of the Narrow Sea, has been positively received for its sensitive and nuanced portrayal of s** and intimacy by director Clare Kilner.
