Hertz CEO Reveals Sneaky Entrance Strategy at Gala Event

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a grand entrance at the Miss Foundation for Women’s 50th Anniversary Gala event in New York on Tuesday.

Accompanied by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, the couple arrived at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in a lavish car.

However, fans were left puzzled when they noticed that the duo walked through a Hertz rental car office upon exiting the vehicle.

Social media was abuzz with questions, with one Twitter user asking if the entrance to the venue was located behind the Hertz office.

Contrary to speculations, the entrance to the Ziegfeld Ballroom is actually situated on 141 West 54th Street in New York.

The Hertz rental car office, as indicated on a map, is across the street from the New York City Center and adjacent to the ballroom.

Hertz CEO, Mark Frissora, shed light on the situation, revealing that Meghan had employed private paid photographers who were not allowed into the gala’s security area.

As a result, she used the side entrance near the Hertz office, ensuring that she could obtain the desired pictures.

This strategic move also created the illusion of a swarm of paparazzi, adding to the drama surrounding their entrance.

It is worth noting that Meghan pays paparazzi to capture her photos, which are subsequently sold.

This arrangement is necessary as it ensures that photographers find it worthwhile to dedicate their time to capturing her images.

While three other photographers were present outside the Ziegfeld Ballroom, their numbers were limited.

Meghan, however, has no control over how her image is portrayed by photographers who are not under her employment.

These photographers were also restricted from entering the security area, while Meghan’s private team managed to bypass surveillance through an alternate entrance.

Furthermore, freelance contributors covering the couple’s stay in New York City have hinted at the possibility of a dinner outing.

They have also emphasized Meghan’s preference for using parking garages or alternative entrances to avoid public attention and photographers on the street.

This practice is common among many celebrities who seek privacy in their daily lives.

Meghan’s decision to utilize the Hertz office as an entrance was a strategic move in preparation for a potential chase story.

Had they entered through the front entrance, it would have been apparent that only a few cameras were present compared to the arrivals of other renowned celebrities, rendering the chase story nonsensical.

Addressing rumors, a representative from Hertz denied any contract signing with Meghan Markle.

Prior to this event, Meghan’s PR team had mentioned her apparent promotion of Hertz, an American car rental company, as she arrived to receive the Women of Vision award at the New York Gala.

Accompanied by Prince Harry and her mother, Meghan’s exit from the event raised eyebrows as they switched from an SUV to a New York taxi.

The PR post insinuated that Meghan had secured a new endorsement deal, becoming part of a fresh marketing campaign.

This appearance marked Meghan’s first public outing since King Charles’s coronation, which she skipped to care for their children in Prince Harry’s absence.
